DG Market — Local services in Clovis

This place is alright like a miniature Walmart would be the best way to describe it. The lines are always long do to there being only one cashier at all times. Most of the staff is nice and you can see it in their faces that they are trying to just get through there day, however the store manager Donna or however her name is spelled is beyond rude. She walks around on a high horse and is gets annoyed when you try to approach for simple things that are in a store managers job description.

Example: I was shopping because I had to get some cleaning essentials and grabbed a basket instead of a cart. I got what I needed, payed, started walking to my car. I get to my car and realized I took the basket out of the store (you are not suppose to do that). I realized as well that the basket had a security tag on it, I walk back to the store to put it back and let them know that the security tag didn't go off as I was walking out (Something that you would I'd important to retail). As I walk in it does go off, she approaches me super quick and with a pist off faced. I told her what happened and how the alarm didn't go off as I walked out and how she should probably look in to it. She snatches the basket off my hands with the most annoyed fave and just walked away. So first of all ouch my wrist and second of all what the hell, I didn't have to take the freaking basket back in I could have left it inside one of the carts outside. I had the dumb idea of being nice and need up people looking at me like I was trouble and my wrist got pulled and hurt by the rude so called manager who isn't good at her job at all.

If you do happen to shop here for the most part it is okay but be careful with the unpleasant people you...

I am happy with the staff you hired recently they are curtious and helpful. They ask when they are stocking items if you need any help let me know, when I said yes each individual helped me, I have been there 2 times recently. When I walk in I am greeted with kindness. All of your sale prices seem to work now. While shopping your staff have been Amazing. I had moved 2 years ago to Clovis and 1 year 6 months ago I stopped going to your store in Clovis. I have to say thank you.

I would shop weekly accross town At McKinley and Fruit in Fresno Dollar Gerneral was my favorite store.

In Clovis on Minnewawa and Bullard 2 years ago your Staff were rude and did not care about people , I vowed never to walk all that way to be ridiculed for your items not ringing up as the sale prices, I did want the correct prices, I watched your adds spent at least every week there. This is my "GO TO" Store! About 1 mile from my home- BUT my family lives on the south east side of Fresno & comes to THIS STORE ONLY as well. The staff is WONDERFUL- always attentive, happy, knowledgeable about the store & products, nice atmosphere. GREAT products, low prices, CLEAN & ORGANIZED Store. I gave it 5 stars because it may not have EVERYTHING like a "SUPER STORE"- BUT- it IS like a MINI Super Store- a little bit of everything in all departments.
