I’ve been going here for several years. At least 10! I dropped off my wedding ring to get sized down along with other pieces to get worked on. I was told the ring was a 6 1/2 and would have to size down to a 5. I was told 8 weeks. Picked it up and I thought wow it still seemed loose & never questioned it. I go back a few months later to get more work done on other pieces. I thought while I’m there I’ll talk to them about my wedding ring that never felt right and was still loose. Come to find out it was never sized down. They admitted this. I paid $50 for work that was never done. So I was told they would go ahead and do it for free and get it done in 1 week while the rest of the pieces I was dropping off will take 8 weeks. I come back and my wedding ring had been horribly changed! I was so upset and sick to my stomach but did not show it. My beautiful wedding ring had been changed drastically and was so crooked! I was told it wasn’t crooked and that it looked straight and perfectly ok. That the top and bottom all lined up. I was so shocked I could barely talk. I thought I know I can’t be the ONLY one who sees that my ring is crooked! So I took a picture and sent it to my husband. He was also speechless. I asked why would anyone think this is acceptable to give back to a customer in this shape. I was told he said he didn’t know it was going to be crooked. I told them put it back the way it was. Also he did NOT give me the spare gold that was taken out to make the ring smaller! I’ve noticed that unless I ask for the spare gold I never get it back. I came back a week later with my husband this time, and it still wasn’t perfect so I had him tweak it more while I was there. We talked to him and asked him as a professional why he would think a customer would be ok with a crooked ring. He says he did nothing wrong and sized it down as I asked. Then my husband and I asked did you not see it was crooked he said “No, I don’t look at my work” and that he “already works to late to begin with” and charged me $70 dollars to fix his mistake. He informed us he’s “been doing this for 35 years and knows what he’s doing but can’t be expected to be perfect” after we asked why were we not told sizing the ring would cause such a severe change. We informed him he’s a professional in his field that customers are paying to get quality work done. I was out a total of $120.00 for his mistake that he as a professional would not take accountability for. None. Not 1%. He said he doesn’t have time to look at his work, that if he did, he would have to charge more. Needless to say I got the rest of my jewelry back before it got worked on. He shouldn’t be in business if he’s not going to do things right and give answers as unprofessional as he gave us. If he couldn’t do it correctly be upfront about it. I was ripped off for his unprofessionalism! I’ll NEVER go back and would NEVER recommend anyone to go there! There is no such thing as customer service or owner responsibility in this store. To nonchalantly treat someone’s precious wedding ring with such disregard is beyond my comprehension. The first picture is the before. Not the best quality because it’s zoomed in. The 2nd picture...

Marty has extensive connections with gemologists and always finds pieces that stand out for their exceptional craftsmanship and high-end stones. If he doesn’t carry a black-box triple A gem that you’re looking for, he will get it. And it will be a gem you can see from across the room!
I knew from the moment I walked into Klines, that I would find stunning vintage pieces, as well as contemporary designs from artisan studios. But when I saw an emerald cut diamond bracelet in New York for 5 figures, I knew that Marty could make me one that was even nicer, just from the picture I took on my phone. For example, he used better materials, such as a bezel mounting instead of prongs, and all solid gold instead of hollow. Sure enough, what he made for me using just a picture on my phone and an old diamond from my Mom’s 1961 dinner ring, turned out way better than the 5 figure bracelet I saw in the NYC Diamond District.
When you visit Kline’s, you’re met with professionalism, deep knowledge, and an evident passion for the finest gems. Whether you're looking to restore a family heirloom, create a custom design, or simply find a unique piece, Marty is the expert you want by your side. His and his expert staff’s attention to detail is remarkable — the final piece he made for me is nothing short of breathtaking. What truly sets Kline’s apart is his staff also, because the store manager Gwen, her daughter, and Marty’s daughter not only combine GIA expertise but they will listen carefully to what you want and transform your vision into something even more beautiful than you ever imagined.
If you're seeking a jeweler who treats their work as a true art form, look no further. This is not just jewelry — Marty Kline creates legacy pieces that you will hand down, created by his hands that honor tradition and...
Read moreOrdered a custom made moissanite engagement ring from Kline's and the entire staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Megan helped me search through books (which took at least a couple hours to pour over) and she never complained once and was happy to help me narrow down what my taste was. She called to check the pricing on a few various rings, we made a decision, and within a couple weeks our ring was in!
I absolutely love it! And I was searching all over for somewhere reputable to get a moissanite ring of this quality. Great price and great selection.
For anyone who thinks they are "pricey" (per the below comments), keep in mind this is a FAMILY OWNED business, meaning they don't have all the perks of a giant chain jewelry store. But in return, you get no pressure from behind the counter, stellar customer service, and a great selection of jewelry. If they don't have it in stock, they'll help you find what you're looking for.
Could not give them higher praises. Thanks,...
