After 3 (disappointing) wedding dress shop experiences, I was not looking forward to coming to a fourth place. My mom dragged me here. But the vibe was instantly different here. There was a sign with my future last name in my dressing room. My mom had called and talked to multiple different people the day before our appointment about specific dresses to make sure they had them before we drove 2 hours. They were so kind and answered every question with so much enthusiasm. My stylist of the day (Vicki, the owners mom) was so encouraging. She worked with our super tight timeline. She had the dresses we called about pulled out for us in a dressing room already and let me pick others to try on as well. I ended up falling in love with three dresses. Because of the short timeline, we had to come back two days later, we had just as great of an experience with the store owner. She let me try on the 3 dresses I was deciding between over and over again until I picked which one I wanted. The dress was extremely detailed and off the rack so we were discussing how alterations would go. She went above and beyond for me by calling the seamstress she usually refers to. The seamstress happened to be in town and stopped in and we discussed how everything would go and happened to get on her schedule for alterations. It was just something extra that made me feel so much more confident in my choice of dress. It really made the experience that much better. We weee so thrilled with our experience here. When you start to plan a wedding, you think of all the things you need to get done. You are running around trying to secure the best of the best. When I say Blush and Ivory is the best of the best, I am not lying! I booked an online appointment and within a few minutes I was getting a phone call to confirm. I rounded up my family and drove about an hour into Michigan to what ended up being the best Saturday I have ever had. I walked into such a clean and inviting store, was greeted by Kate who made everything so simple. She took us on a tour, showed us all the dresses to choose from, and showed us to the dressing rooms. I was able to shop at my leisure without any pressure to rush or pick the most expensive dress. I felt like a princess the entire day! Even said yes to the dress! I cannot say enough about how great my experience was at Blush and Ivory Bridal Company. From the moment I walked in it felt so different from any other bridal store I had been to. The atmosphere was clean, calm, and inviting. The staff were very organized and helpful throughout the entire experience. The thing I appreciated most was the time and space they gave me. I had been to other stores where it felt rushed and I did not have an opportunity to stay in the dresses and feel them out. Or the opposite where I would want to change because I knew it wasn’t the dress but was at the mercy of the staff because of the changing room layout. At Blush and Ivory I was able to control when I wanted to switch dresses, which dresses I wanted to try first, and they gave me the opportunity to truly take my time.
