Verizon — Local services in Collinsville

Don’t let these people sell you extra phone accessories. I was pretty stoked about my new iPhone so I didn’t look much into all the add ons they were adding on. It wasn’t a big deal until my screen protector broke after 4 days and I realized in order to have it replaced it would cost me 20$ in shipping. Mind you- they charged me SIXTY dollars for the screen protector alone already and I was not told one word about the warranty/rules about it. I could buy like 10 of those for the price I paid. I brought it up to the store thinking because I had a good experience with Nathan that it would be resolved quickly. Instead I was met with Toby, who was dismissive and seemed pissed I even walked into the store to interrupt her doing (something?)… anyway after being brushed off I came back in asking if I could just have the screen refunded instead of replaced… still met with dismissiveness and “idgaf” attitude. You’d think with all the money I just spent here you guys could replace my 60$ phone screen protector since it probably costs you about 1$ to purchase. But it’s cool, I will not be bothering coming back again and I just thought people should read this before choosing to let them talk you into selling you add ons and basically robbing you. I’m thoroughly impressed by the service at this location. Toby was knowledgeable, professional, and even went the extra mile to find ways to lower my monthly payment. That’s the sort of thing an online chat rep will never do for you. Yes, I could’ve ordered the new phones from home, but I’d still be paying twice as much for fewer services! I know everyone’s bill situation is different, but if you’ve been a customer for a long time and never bother to look at what you’re actually paying for, do yourself a favor and stop in to see if they can find you some hidden discounts!

We got two new phones recently, and Toby took the time to show us all the new features and help us set everything up. Even when we ran into some trouble that required a quick call to corporate customer service, they were super patient and handled the hiccup like a pro. They also managed to fix an issue with a different phone on our plan that we’d been trying to figure out for months!

I'm a little late with my review but wanted to take a moment to brag about the staff. If you hate shopping for a new phone, this is your store. I was in a rushed crises when I needed to upgrade my phone for work and decided to try this place because they seemed less busy than other stores I had worked with. I'm so glad I did. Toby and Matthew were outstanding. I was panicked about saving things from my old phone and Toby was so incredibly patient with me and made everything so easy. She is fantastic! They didn't have the phone I needed but did at another location. I needed it THAT day so Matthew dropped everything to make that happen! Because of their service, this is my new store and I have told everyone I know to go there. We can get phones and plans anywhere but I go where the service is the BEST!
