New China — Restaurant in Collinsville

This is not the first time we have had issues with delivery, but this is the first review I'm leaving about the issues. We ordered delivery online and all the address information entered was correct. After an hour of waiting we called the restaurant to see what was going on with the order since the email confirmation said it would be about 45 minutes. We were told that our order was out for delivery. An hour later(two hours total) we still had not received our order and called again to see what was going on. They said our order was delivered, but it was not delivered to us and they expected us to go get the food from someone else's door that had been sitting there for who knows how long. We previously had issues with delivery and the address not being updated on the restaurant's end. While we were on the phone asking to have the order canceled and a refund they hung the phone up on us. Overall we are completely dissatisfied with New China and will not be ordering from them anytime...

Order dinner for delivery,after about an hour we called the store wondering where our food is, even though they said it would be here in 40 minutes. When I called the store, they said they weren’t sure where my food was and that it was on its way. I asked her what to do if my food shows up cold And she told me “that’s not their problem”, then the “manager” said your food will be there in 7-8 minutes we waited 10 more and the delivery driver called and said she another 15 minutes away. No food after an hour and a half. The line “it’s not my problem if your food arrives cold” is probably some of the worst customer service I have ever heard of. I ended up calling back and getting a full refund on my order. This restaurants delivery service is a joke. I would’ve been fine picking up my order if they would have just told me that they are short staffed or they’re behind. If you order delivery, expect to wait a minimum...

The food was hot and fresh when I got it ... It just wasn't my type of anything I spent 25 and got the general taos chicken combination plate with white steamed rice I ordered my boyfriend same thing as my self and a couple additional egg rolls besides the 1 it came with ! I just have to be honest I didn't care for the egg rolls they didn't have much cabbage and they taste was off and I'm a egg roll enthusiast 😉!! The general taos chicken was big chunks and the sauce was wayyyyyyy off not spicy and didn't have a kick smh the white steamed rice was not appetizing it was just ok they serve chicken fried rice 🍚 as a additional side option!!! I'm just not a fan besides the white guy behind the counter who had a man made motor 🛵 it was super cool.. I wish I just wished I went to my favorite Rice 🍚 place and egg roll place its in Fairview heights Illinois China King and to me they absolutely kill the game for...
