So are you thinking about taking your vehicle to this shop? First let's assess the parking lot.... lots of vehicles that appear to have been sitting there for months.... (which I can confirm this lol guys got a cummins he throws every jump pack on to get it started to move it over 2 spots to make it look like he worked on it... tires are almost flat....) enough about that, let's get you to what brought you to this review.
My brother's girlfriend brought her car here to have a random shutting off issue. This guy decided to take it upon himself to start ripping out and aftermarket ignition claiming it was the issue when it was not. (The issue was a bad battery and bad connections......) so after this super genius got done ripping the wiring out for the after market ignition to his amazement it didn't fix the problem. So he moved onto the battery and found that they were corroded. So he put new battery connections on it. But rather then connecting these new connections properly he simply attached them to the painted part of the new connections and if your reading this and know anything about electricity, it dose not travel thru paint very well at all. So after doing all this he was still not able to fix the problem and said "you need to take it to the dealer, I don't do electrical"
So now your probably asking yourself, why didn't you make him fix it? Why didn't you demand money back? Why didn't you complain sooner?
Simply put, the way finding a good mechanic goes if you give a shop a chance and hope it works out, this guy did not work out. With him removing the aftermarket ignition he made a whole new issue, the car put itself into theft mode because now my key was not recognized by my car because it was linked to the aftermarket system. So almost $2000 later the car is up and running again.
All that being said, enter at your own risk.... I've been observing this guy for atleast 5 months now.... I have not seen any repeat customers, I've seen the same vehicles sitting there forever, I've watch people have their vehicles towed to different shops after sitting there for a month or so and not getting touched..... I get some people have to wait for parts or wait for money.... but come on.... 3 months a vehicle has been sitting there moving from spot to spot, randomly see him looking under the hood of it confused..... this guy must of just started working on cars.... its a good thing adam pop already had customers coming and going from this place otherwise I don't think this guy would have made it this long.....
Well good riddance to you my friend. I hope you figure things out or close up shop and cut...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis used to be a great local mom & pop repair shop. Owner's could not have been nicer and really went above and beyond for their client's. What happened? Your mechanic tried to rip me off on a strut job he insisted on doing at your shop this weekend. He took my money, my parts and then went radio silent on me never completing the job as promised. When I finally texted asking for my struts back so I could go get them put on somewhere else, he showed up at my place of employment and threw my car parts in the snow behind my car along with half the cash he had taken for the job ... but kept the $40 tip I had included for a job he didn't even complete.
I really relied on you to keep my car on the road but your mechanics predatory behavior has me looking for a new shop much like most of the rest of your former clientele in the neighborhood. You may not care about losing my business, but your massive legal and personal woes are overshadowing your ability to conduct honest business in our community and the entire neighborhood is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wheel bearings on my 15 passenger van went bad as I traveled North on Hwy 51 to Stevens Point. I was able to pull off at the Coloma Necedah exit. I called the Coloma Auto Repair, located one mile away, and Joe graciously told me to bring my van in. I ended up having to have the van towed there, but Joe stopped all other jobs and worked on my vehicle. His wife and daughters were very kind while I waited. His dog Diesel friendly. I was able to get back on the road within a few hours, thanks to Joeās willingness to help a stranger in time of need. He was my Good Samaritan yesterday and I praise the Lord for using him as an answer...
