I am extremely disappointed and unhappy with my experience. I have spent $120 just to get horrible work done. First of all me and my friend went to get our nails done on Sunday 10/27/2024, the girl who did my friends nails was amazing, her name is Thalia. The person who I was put originally with decided to throw me to some other tech because I requested to get my cuticles cut before he does the acrylic set. He literally just got up and went and got someone else and then that person came and didn’t explain anything to me, so I was like “what’s going on” he said “oh he has an appointment so I’m going to do it “ if he had an appointment why did he start doing my nails then? And he waited another 30 min before he got another client. Anyhow, keep in mind they charge $10 extra just to cut your cuticles, which was fine with me but the attitude and service was just absolutely horrible. Anyhow I ask multiple times and explain very well MULTIPLE TIMES that I want a very thin layer. I do not want a think layer, the tech kept saying “I can’t make it more thin, the nail will break” but my friend right next to me who Thalia was working on her nails, got the perfect thin layer because she actually knows what’s she’s doing and was very nice and kind and did her work exactly like my friend explained to her. And I told him I want it to be thinner this is very thick for me and I don’t like it. He didn’t listen anyhow, eventually I just stopped asking because he kept repeating the same sentence. The next day I got very upset with my nails and wanted to get them shorter because I was uncomfortable with them being long, so I went in and asked to get them shorter. Again the attitude and service was absolutely horrible. They said “okay will cut them but they’ll be messed up” keep in mind I have been to other salons and if you need to fix or change anything they’re more than happy to do it for you within the first couple of days . Anyways I said okay, they said they’ll cut them and they can’t fix the polish unless I pay.. so I just decided to get a different color than the one I originally had because I will be paying anyways if they would fix the polish and because if they just cut them, it’ll look very bad. So I said fine I’ll pay $30 just to get the color changed. So keep in mind if you guys decide to go get the nails to be shorter the next day they’ll literally only cut them for you. They will not paint them Again or make them nice they’ll just cut it and let you go unless you pay for the color. All they care about is how much money they can get off of you and it’s sickening. Anyways I asked again please file them some more and make the layer thinner because I really don’t like how thick it is and this other tech also just says the same sentence as “I can’t make this thinner” and I told him but Thalia yesterday did it thinner, and I don’t care if they break just please make it thinner and he just did not care about what I said and proceeded to just take off the polish and cut them and put new polish on. He was just rushing and wanted to be done so he can get someone else and make money. I will post pictures of how bad my nails look now and how messed up the polish is and please keep in mind when going in here that they have the worst customer service and they just see you as a $$ sign. I do have to say that Thalia was very kind and patient and actually listened and understood what my friend wanted but the other 3 techs that I interacted with, were absolutely horrible, the first one got up and told someone else to finish doing my nails because I asked him to please cut the cuticles, the second one just said okay when I said I want them THIN and then did what he wanted to do just to finish fast so he can get to the next customer and rushed the whole time, and the third one who was supposed to fix what I didn’t like charged me $30 and just was rude and rushing the whole time. So thanks guys. Awesome job. Also you guys can see how bad of a job they did in the pictures and keep in mind these nails are...

I want to share my experience to help you make an informed decision about where to get your nails done. Unfortunately, my recent visit to Q Nail Spa was extremely disappointing due to their unprofessionalism and failure to uphold Colorado regulations.
I’ve been going to Q Nails and spa salon for many years since moving to Colorado, and I have always appreciated quality service. However, my latest experience was far from acceptable. I visited Q Nail Spa for a full acrylic set, and the owner, Tim, did my nails. I made it clear upfront that I am particular about my nails and like to see multiple color options before making my final decision. Despite my requests, Tim repeatedly dismissed my concerns with unprofessional remarks, refusing to acknowledge my dissatisfaction.
Before the service was completed, I expressed that I was unhappy with my nails and requested their removal, stating that I was willing to pay for the necessary service. Shockingly, Tim insisted that I should not pay, but also refused to allow any employee to remove my nails. He even claimed that no one liked doing my nails simply because I requested to see multiple colors. Isn’t a nail salon supposed to provide options and accommodate customer preferences? If a client wants to see 10 different colors, what’s the issue—especially when salons charge for customizations anyway? As a customer, I should have the freedom to choose the exact shade that suits me.
Having been a loyal customer at Q Nail Spa for many years, I always tipped well and expected professional service. However, tonight was my final straw. I have never been treated or spoken to in such a disrespectful manner by a business owner. As other negative reviews have stated, this salon seems more focused on rushing clients out the door rather than providing quality service.
I ultimately went to Harmony Nails to have my acrylics removed, and the staff there was incredibly kind and professional.
I hope this review helps others make an educated decision when choosing a nail salon in Colorado. There are many places that prioritize professionalism and customer satisfaction—don’t settle for less!

Read moreI went here in September for the first time and had an amazing gel manicure so I came back for a pedicure and mani, and wow was this an entirely different experience. My manicure was done at the pedi chair which didn’t feel great on my back being twisted to the side. My staff member didn’t say anything to me but simply tapped my legs and pulled my legs rather than providing any verbal direction during the pedi. When my staff member walked away to get something, I took a look at my nails before being polished. She did not ask me my preferred shape (round) and I guess she decided to go rogue. I saw she had filed my nails down to nubs and flat/somewhat square. My nails were jagged and the corners sharp and uneven. I did my best to fix them while she was gone and was already on the verge of tears. My nails were painted worse than if I had painted them which is why I pay $60 plus for someone else to do it. One of my nail’s polish is already smudged and it’s been 30 minutes since I left. I really wish I could have had the experience I had the first time because I’d go back but this second time was nearly traumatizing. I think this speaks to who you get. I’m giving this 2 stars because of my first good experience and my pedicure was “fine.” I’ll continue to keep my eye out for my unicorn mani/pedi salon in the springs.
Edit: the manager or owner of the store called me promptly after this review and was incredibly kind and offered To fix the situation. Since my nails were shortened, I wasn’t in a position to immediately take her up on the offer AND I appreciate her response, problem...
