BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD SHOPPING AT THIS STORE.
The deli counter employees are disgruntled, rude & don’t want to do their job.
EVERY SINGLE TIME I come in this store they NEVER have fresh food out.
I came 12/4 @ 6pm to order chicken tenders and potatoes wedges. There were no potato wedges so I asked for fresh ones. Along with a fresh order of chicken strips because they had been sitting out all day.
JONATHAN M (whose attitude was beyond repulsive) refused. According to him they have to serve what is out and can’t make fresh orders.
If I’m paying for an order do something as a customer I have the right to have it done FRESH.
They pretty much try to BULLY you into buying old hard chicken.
I asked for a manager (JOEL) who obviously was inexperienced in running the front and customer service.
I waited 30 minutes for him to come to the deli counter before FINALLY going to find him myself and explaining the situation.
He goes to the back and comes out. Tells me they’ll make the order but I’ll have to wait for them to clean the fryers. (I had already been waiting 30 minutes from when I originally stepped in the store and placed the order) he told me it would take 15 minutes.
Back to JONATHAN M
After speaking with a manager he still proceeds to ARGUE with me over making the order I asked for.
It then gets to the point he starts extending the time frame for “cleaning the fryers” from 15 minutes to FORTY MINUTES. And apparently they only have ONE fryer.
This was by far the worst experience I’ve had shopping at staters bros. This lack of work ethic shows they do not value customer’s business. I shouldn’t have had to go through this many hoops just to order food that I AM PAYING FOR.
Definitely following up with corporate. Their needs to be coaching’s done on proper customer service and how to treat people who spend their money to shop there.
In synopsis I spent 48 MINUTES IN THE STORE. All of which going back and forth with an employee and poor management. And to which NO FRYER had been...
Read moreStopped at your Washington Ave at 1045 am. I am a disabled senior I needed to use the restroom before shopping. I went into the women's bathroom the disabled stall was Out of order there was a sign. I had to use the smaller stall. The problem is I need the bar that I can pull myself up with in the disabled stall. You store is out of ADA compliance and anyone that is disabled will have a problem as I did. Getting up without support to help me makes my knee slip out of place and I end up in pain and it's hard to walk. As I left the bathroom I saw a gentleman in a white dress shirt right in front of the bathroom area at the checkout lane. I asked if he as the manager he said he was one of them. He's a slightly built man maybe Hispanic or Indian. I told him about the problem he said ok. Not apologizing or saying anything to help. So it's very irritating when an employee just dismisses a problem. I could sue you for not being in ADA compliance. And causing me pain by not having a bar to hold onto while getting up from a sitting position so my knee doesn't slip out of place. People with no disabilities have no idea the pain it is to be disabled. And to have an dismissive attitude when things are brought up is unacceptable. Look at your cameras for this time frame this happened . I am the woman in a green jacket and black pants. And yes I had to get the car keys from my husband and go to the car while he got what we needed. Please fix this problem by with fixing the stall toilet or put a bar in all stalls in case this happens again I am getting ready to call an ADA attorneys opinion on...
Read moreToday June 3rd 2020 at around 3pm, I encountered my worst grocery shopping experience. I have never felt so disrespected AND humiliated by store employees, especially coming from a manager who represents the company and store. The store manager Steve, accused me of yelling after I was trying to explain the situation with a face mask on, and followed to disrespect the 6 feet policy, by standing over me in such a demeaning manner. Even if I was yelling there would be no need to violate the 6ft apart distance protocol in place. Furthermore, awful attitude coming from the store employees including the cashier and another employee who rolled their eyes a couple of times. This traumatizing experience has negatively impacted my decision to ever shop again at this store and even my perspective on the company in itself. I am highly concerned for the people who shop here, as I can not fathom this being the norm. I appreciate that my local Stater Bros stores always do their best to treat their costumers with respect and dignity. I hope that management is reevaluated at this store, especially in these difficult times, I would not want someone especially as a person of color and women to ever encounter this atrocious experience. Please learn some human decency for the sake of our community...
