Franks is the place God used to continue igniting the Christmas spirit. I was two weeks past my schedule for picking up my Christmas tree because I was away across the country celebrating with my new grandbaby. Upon my return, I immediately called Franks near their closing time, to which they said they would remain open until I arrived.

Arriving shortly after the 7pm close, the lights were off. The staff turned the lights on, and Felippe, a Christmas tree sales assistant, met me at my car. I told him exactly what I wanted and the price range. He walked with me and presented the exact perfect tree!

As I purchased the tree, the manager joyfully shared information about Christmas trees (from North Carolina, soil quality, market needs supply and demand etc.). and then helped Felippe carefully reposition my perfect Christmas tree for safe travels home.

This is a great place to pick up plants not others I must say. We picked up some. But I also picked up 1 oz corns for 8 dollars, it was way too much, I did not know a grocery was asking ONLY 4 for a dollar. Okay it may be my fault there. I also picked up a box of peaches. This one was clearly due to a lack of knowledge of staffs, I asked what is different? It was a couple young ladies was there, one of them spoke up telling not different. they are all good. We have too many peaches. Terrible, please educate them totally disappointed. if not, should tell us the truth or ask for a help. But if you never been to a true nursery, you should go and visit their green houses, it was very interesting. oh about the peaches, I expected not to be good, and not intend to eat fresh, my intention was to can them but it was worse than what I expected . They can answer just about any question you may have about fruit, vegetables, plants, shrubs, trees. If the person you ask doesn't have the answer, you can bet another family member does. And, they share this information with their seasonal staff.
