Tonight wasn't just one of the greatest purchasing experiences of my life, it was also one of the most kind and genuine human interactions I have ever experienced. I was speechless. I was on my way to a funeral. A 10 year old girl lost her father in the most tragic of ways. This one struck my heart heavily as her father was also a friend of mine, and I also lost a dad at that age and it brought back a lot of feelings for me. I decided to stop into this shop and see if they had a decent priced cross that I could buy for this wonderful little girl that just lost her Dad. When I walked in I just asked the lady behind the counter if they sold crosses? They did so she asked a question or two to see who it was for so she could find the right item. Ultimately I told her about the little girl it was for and how I was going to her Dad's funeral. At this time I proceeded to tear up and was on the verge of letting loose some tears, but I was able to hold it back. She could clearly tell I was internally not doing well as she put the cross in my hands and did something so special that I will never forget...she gave me a hug. I didn't know her and I have never shopped there. She also practically gave it to me for nothing, literally. I offered to pay more as I wasn't expecting charity or even a deal for that matter. She insisted and I was left speechless. I couldn't talk because if I did I knew I would just start crying. Her hug and kindness at that moment meant more to me than words can describe. I believe it will change my life because I won't ever forget it. It was the most kind, genuine, impactful experiences of my life. I cried a lot tonight, but this lady makes me smile knowing there are people like this still in the world. God bless this lady. That little 10 year old was so happy when she got her new necklace. She immediately had someone put it on her. I gave it to her to keep and always let it serve as a reminder of the beautiful place her Dad is in now. This place is now a part of that and I can't wait to pay it forward. I will be spending a lot of money with them in the near future. Thank you for this amazing...
