Hate to say it folks but the truth is the truth. Although I think its wonderful to have a food bank in our town what I went through today left me confused, worried, embarrassed, and angry. Here's the problem. When you go to the new food bank on the business loop they have this system which immediately made me feel like I was being punished. They have these "aisles " and as a single person ( just an example here) I'm only allowed 4 items in that isle. So there wasn't much food there anyway but let me tell you a little something about HUNGER. When one is hungry it shouldn't matter about what you can and cannot have. Then when your done they bag it for you so they can see if your stealing or not. This is so petty. I was called out because I took 5 items of the same product off the wrong isle...I guess. He spoke to me like I was 3 years old. It took everything I had to keep it together and walk out that door. This was the most embarrassing moment in my life. When did we start controlling and attacking people that need help ?? Especially for food? I felt God shead a tear today. What has happened to...

It's more of a safety issue really for myself and other drivers coming in and out of the parking lot. other inconvenience I would register is the take a number and register in one at a time to go to the food pantry to obtain your groceries and only because there is only one person that checks people in and the wait time can be a little horrendous when you have other obligations that have to be...
