Costello International — Local services in Columbus

I have purchased various quantities and types of jewelry from Costello International for over 20 years now. I have also been the fortunate beneficiary of many generous gifts of high-quality product(s), which has always been both welcome and unexpected. The staff that I have worked with over the years have always been helpful. One particular shipment several years ago was slightly incorrect with some minor errors, but the staff devoted the necessary time to assist me with guidance through the shipping return process, etc... and generously provided some additional gifts to ensure that all was good. We're good for sure.

For those that may not know, the jewelry is still manufactured in central Mexico, by families and artisans that have been doing this work for generations. The designs that are still being produced are always beautiful and innovative, yet maintain that distinct characteristic of the Taxco Guerrero artistic community that somehow survives in this age of increasing...

Unfortunately their customer service skills are lacking respect, honesty and consistency. They do not follow their printed guarantees stating they are 'typos' when pointed out. Merchandise is exactly what you pay for. Do NOT fall for their 'try it and then buy it or return it scheme.' They refuse to send the return label until your time is up. They then refuse to take back merchandise as guaranteed on website and through verbal means. Had to beg for their 'free displays'and still have yet to receive. Have only sold two pieces of their product even with severely discounted prices. I am now stuck with multiple items due to their lack of customer satisfaction guarantee follow through and failure to live up to product guarantee. I would highly recommend you try...

We have a very good relationship with Costello International as a vender and have for several years. Their products are very unique and popular with many ages and travelers alike. Many times they include free displays, with business cards promoting the artists and explaining the materials used. Customer service is always very prompt and courteous- even when a package got lost in shipping they tracked it down quickly for us and remedied the situation...
