I have always heard really good things about this business, and have never made a purchase and after today’s experience I won’t. My mom who is a retiree purchased a Queen mattress and Queen box springs from this retailer. The mattress and box springs were delivered Wednesday. Yesterday Friday we attempted to put the new mattress and box springs on a bed frame and they would not fit. My mom got the measurements wrong. We called Freddie’s and offered to pay a restocking fee and delivery fee to exchange the Queen mattress and box springs ( Still in the plastic they were delivered in inside the house) for full size mattresses and box springs. On the first call my mom spoke with Leah and was told something about a COVID policy. Legally COVID policies have been retracted. On the second call I spoke with Mary who started quoting COVID policies and I graciously reminded her those are no longer legally mandated. She then said my mom put the mattresses on a bed, and I again said how mam they won’t fit. She then said well they have been unwrapped again no mam that’s incorrect they look exactly the same way your company delivered them still new in plastic. Finally she resulted to all sales are final no exchanges which is stated on my mom’s receipt. I really don’t patronize a lot of small businesses like this, because they have a predatory effect banking on low to no income and poor credit to make their money targeting a certain demographic. I am absolutely becoming a faithful customer. They have beautiful furniture and if they do not have what you want, they can order it. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of the products is superb. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. I will be going back to get another recliner soon. The big box stores are overpriced for the same items. If you do not have cash they offer financing options that will not kill you in interest. I recommend...
