Hairlove — Local services in Columbus

I’ve been to six salons in Columbus in as many years. I have textured, wavy/curly hair that’s always been a pain for most hairstylists to try and handle. Never have I ever received a better haircut, color and education on how to take care of and EMBRACE my natural hair. Kassidy, you are phenomenal. I felt so at ease and welcomed in a beautiful space from the start, which has not been the case at other salons. Kassidy consulted with me about my hair goals and what I was looking for, and was somehow able to pull the vision out of my head that I likely did a poor job of describing. Kassidy talked me through her thinking and what she planned to do and literally blew me away with the result. I’ve never really loved my hair after the first wash post-professional styling/cut/color/gloss, but Kassidy did such a fab job creating a style that works for my low maintenance needs and wants. I’ve received so many compliments on my color and cut from colleagues, clients, and a person in the grocery store. I had my appointment with Alex and I can not express enough how much I love the service! I usually go in to an appointment with a baseline of what I want but I don’t really know much about hair and what goes well with my features. So it’s always important to me to have a stylist that is willing to talk with me before anything is done to my hair. Alex was great off the bat she talked to me in depth what I wanted and made me feel at ease the whole time and talked me through the whole process! She was also just so kind and easy to talk to she made the whole experience so fun! At the end of it all I was blown away with my hair she completely understood what I wanted and made it look better than I could imagine! I have been going to Hairlove for a year or so now -- and recently wanted a dramatic change. My blonde highlights were growing out and I couldn't keep up with maintaining them. I recently saw Lexi (first time meeting her too) & verrrry quickly realized I was in good hands. She nailed the images I showed her beforehand and was very thorough as she was explaining the entire process. She even gave me great recommendations for aftercare / styling tips -- sent me home with shampoo & conditioner samples! I love a little goodie bag.
