This place is a joke when it comes to buying/selling jewelry. I walked in and told the lady I was interested in selling my 22k/916 gold chain. Before i even go my chain all the way off my neck and put it on the counter she was telling me it was fake. She picked it up and said "this doesnt feel like real gold". She passed it off to an American Asian guy and he looked at it and said it was fake also. Then the lady grabbed it from him and started to proceed with the acid test and picked the clasp section to scrap some gold off to acid test it. I told her to not do the test on the very thin part of the clasp of the necklace because everyone looks at that to open the necklace. She then put the necklace down and the American Asian dude asked me where I would like them to scratch the gold to beacle to do the acid test. I told him anywhere but the clasp. He did the scratch acid test and then handed it off to some white dude. The American Asian dude looked at me and asked me where I got the necklace. I told him i bought it out of the US. He said he wasn't completely convinced that the necklace was solid gold all the way through and that countries in Asia plate the gold very thick so that it passes the scratch and acid test and that he would have to use a file and file all the way through the chain to make sure it was solid gold all the way through. I told him absolutely not, because that would ruin the necklace. The white dude did up his calculations on the necklace and said he could give me $3,000 for it. The necklace itself just in gold weight according to the gold prices at that exact time was worth $4,500. So they low balled me $1,500. They couldnt even be honest enough to give me the necklaces weight in cash. Super disrespectful people working the pawn shop, very...
Read moreHorrible experience I had going to this location I originally pawned my MacBook and iPad. I received $100 for the iPad I received $80 for the MacBook which only sat for two weeks if that maybe a week 1/2 this month of August, I ended up paying $280 total when I started asking questions about the interest rates which was only “28$” a piece for it being here the owner got very rude telling me I already paid for the items to just go on about my day not realizing that I know my rights which this information had not being disclosed at the time of me pawning the items. His response was “he has a great attorney.” I will be filing a complaint. greed don’t last for long reap what you sow so doing no good deeds to people in need will always catch up. I asked for receipts and paperwork that I supposedly signed at the time upon in which no one could show to me. These people are stealing money to retrieve your items Back but I will be in contact with somebody in regards to this. The receipt that I did receive, it showed zero interest rates I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the attorney general in...
Read moreBeen pawning my rings here for almost two years and never had an issue until this past time I went and picked up my rings. My wedding ring was basically ruined. It looks like it has burn marks on it and also had scratches on it that were definitely not there when I pawned it. When I very calmly asked them about it I was told that it was probably from it sitting in water or sitting in the envelope which made no sense to me. I went to my car and sat for a few minutes but I was getting really upset so I went back in to see if I could talk to someone else. Ended up talking to the same guy again (John) and he was a complete jerk about it. I asked him if he was really going to give me my ring back looking like this and he shrugged and said “Yep.” I was devastated to show my ring to my husband because they were his mom and dads and his dad has since passed away. This is not a replaceable ring to us. I am incredibly upset and don’t really know if there’s anything I can do about this but I will definitely never do business with Levs again. I was totally disrespected and shrugged off as if it was no big deal and...
