Joy to Go — Restaurant in Whitehall

Their food is delicious!!! There are so many vegetables in their food. It is much less oily than other places. Because I don't order ahead, I wait at a table. I watch people come, get their order, and go for the entire time I wait. My favorite is chicken with vegetables ordered a spicy. The veggies included broccoli, snowpeas,carrots, baby corn, bamboo shoots, and fresh mushrooms. The broccoli was very crunchy, not overcooked.

This time, the takeout was in a styrofoam container that leaked in the bag, causing precious sauce to be lost. Previous orders were served in plastic containers with tight lids that didn't leak. I'm hoping this was an anomaly, not the new normal.

We order from here a lot. We used to always eat at Eastern bay which is in upper Arlington which is a great place but it's so far away from where we live now. We couldn't find a new place with food anywhere near as good until we found Joy to go. The food is awesome, and the prices are great, especially the amount of food you get for what you pay. And they are fast! Last time we called they were so busy they had to put us on hold for a minutes but still had the order ready in 10 minutes. The quality and taste of the food and the value for your money knocks the Competition out of the water in my opinion. I watched lady with the purple shirt on and flowered shirt underneath the purple shirt and a black sweater on top of the purple shirt dig at her head and scalp with no gloves and then stand there over the food and put stuff into a paper bag.I was so happy she wasn't handling my food, words can't describe. The other lady with the Brown phone in front pocket and the lady in the purple shirt just standing and talking about stuff we're all standing around waiting for food. 4 otders later, finally I said give me my stuff and I'm done forget the bag. terrible service man,I mean I don't know what the food taste like but im not too...
