The original AutoZone store I went to didn't have the battery I needed (which was determined after the guy pulled the old one out and after I had paid for a new battery and he almost put in a damaged battery he pulled off the shelf), so he forwarded the purchase to the AutoZone at 3601 E Main St., but when I got there the guy said it was "more complicated than we are supposed to do" and the woman next to him chimed in "well we're not supposed to do battery changes after a certain time anyway" (mind you it was approximately 4:30 PM and I had specifically asked at the first location if I could go to have it changed a bit later in the day because after all the time spent at that location I didnāt have enough time remaining before a 2:30 PM appointment). I responded that I would do it myself if necessary and sure enough the guy handed me the battery to install myself. Since I had planned to tip whoever changed the battery $25, I instead split that tip between the two uber drivers it took to shuttle me back and forth to again jump my vehicle with another vehicle and bring both vehicles home. I ultimately returned the battery to the original AutoZone location, purchased a new battery from an AutoZone competitor for a much better price, and successfully changed the battery myself. And no, it was not complicated - see video below:

Ā Ā Ā Read moreHORRIBLE!!!! So I'm from out of town and I needed a rear turn signal bulb replaced. Sounds easy enough right? I waited on hold for more than 8 minutes and actually arrived at the location before they picked up the phone. Got in the store and had to wait another 5 minutes in line. Finally purchased the bulb and was made to wait to the side while the cashier waited on two other customers. Then the cashier said that someone else would help me while he took one of the other two customers outside to do something to their car. That employee never became available so when the cashier came back in the store he said that he would come out to help me. We get outside and the cashier doesn't know how to replace the bulb. Oh, and there were two other employees doing who knows what, but helping no one that I could see. Worst wait times! Worst customer service! Everrrr! Way to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing!!! Been dealing with a faulty headlight for about 2-3 days now, ruled out bulb and fuse, thought it's probably some wire/ground issue which would have been a terrible headache... But the sweetest lad -Jailan(sorry if misspelled)-at AutoZone saved my a--!!! Took a while and he literally fixed it! Managers -- if you please, the lad totally deserves a raise!!! Thank you so much!! š
This is an addendum -- arrived here again months later, this store is indeed off the charts nice and apparently consistently so. This time manager Rick and Kenya helped out with some connections at the battery that totally killed it, they tightened some connections and cleaned some corrosion to top! This place rocks!!! Always my go to first stop! Thank you...
