I was really excited to find a place that is knowledgeable about seb derm and natural hair but was ultimately let down.

Didn’t do a consultation at all. Threw tools around to the point that the banging made me jump. Had my hair dripping down my face and neck. Rude, short, and uncomfortably silent throughout the appointment (like literally ~15 words out of her mouth over the two hours). Left my edges curly after a silk press and weighed my hair down with product.

I have never felt more unwelcome in a salon. And since she didn’t do a consultation or speak to me at all, I now have neck pain due to a spinal cord injury in my neck that every other stylist has been able to accommodate.

I can only assume Keyla treated me this way because I was three minutes late or because she has something going on in her personal life. If it was the three minutes, that was quite an overreaction especially considering I called to let her know. If it was her personal life, she should have rescheduled the appointment t instead of treating...

I am so incredibly grateful to have found this salon. Keyla was thorough, detailed, and intentional. I have been looking for a Curl Specialist for the last year and have been let down numerous times. I wanted to start my hair journey with someone who knows that theyre talking about, not just someone who can do a style when needed. Keyla was just that, she explained every part of the process to me, answered all of my questions, and followed up with information. You can tell that she is truly passionate about her work. Even the pre-appointment things were detailed, all of her policies and instructions lay everything out. Hard to say what I like about Naturally Chic because I liked everything. Keyla was prepared and ready for my appointment on time. She is very professional and personable, which is very important when choosing a Beautician. My temp was checked and I led into the salon. I enjoyed being the only customer being served. No two hours waiting under and dryer or running to get something to eat, while you wait. The salon is super clean and I felt comfortable using the bathroom. Keyla introduced me to some top quality products, which were available for retail. I've been checking Keyla's website for about a year now. I am so happy I finally took the plunge and got my first curl cut. My wash n go is two days old and it still looks pretty good. I can't wait to wash my hair just to practice my wash...
