I like the balance of the coaching and independence to get through the workout. I love the diversity of the workout and everyday it's something different. You will never get bored. There are moments I have where OTF can get me in the zone and it's very motivating, you don't want to stop sometimes. When you are outside of OTF, you catch yourself thinking about it wishing you were there. It's addicting and challenging in a way that you have the option of how much you want to be challenged. The music is the only thing I would critique. I know it's so hard to match everyone's music preference, plus every work out pace is different. I'm not into top 40 hits or 80's rock (which every OTF franchise I have visited and been a member of plays these genre's the most out of anything), only because it's over played and sometimes even if the cuss words are bleeped out, the lyrics can say some very inappropriate/corny things, but you can't win them all and I am more so focused on the workout than the music even though the music can help with getting in the zone. I wish they would play more electronic/techno type of music since there are fewer words and it's more just background music. Maybe OTF Corporate can come up with a way for OTF members to vote on the music they want to be played before they take the class. OTF has everything except a way to control which...
Read moreI am from IL and have worked out at OT for a year there prior to moving here to CBUS, 4 yrs ago. It’s very rare you go from state to state and hit up the same gym, coffee place, or restaurant and the gym has the same vibe or space, the coffee place makes your Carmel iced coffee your way and your fav dish at the restaurant tastes just like it does back home...OTF may be the most consistent, streamlined facility/business I have come across. Everyone is on the same page all the time speaking the same language when it comes to all of the precautions and preventions they have and continue to take with COVID-19. When I travel to see my family in IL, the OP OTF gives me the same information that OFT NA does. They are up front, honest and always have our best interest and health at heart. I am so happy you guys are finally back open and love OTF NA. You are all doing such a solid job taking care of the facility and us. Thank you for what you do for all of us so we can continue to get our butts...
Read moreOrangeTheory New Albany has given me the drive and motivation that I've been missing since getting pregnant. As long as I just get to class I know I will get a great workout regardless. The people/staff, clean facility, & great music are small details, but things that I have really enjoyed during my first few classes. I have an excitement again about working out and it still gives be the same level of difficultness and intensity that I got with crossfit. This is the only type of fitness that I have found outside of crossfit that challenges me enough and was getting a little burnt and simply just wanting to change up my fitness routine a bit. Although I can't be nearly as intense as I would like to be with my workouts right now being 26 weeks pregnant, I love that I can modify accordingly while still getting in a super hard workout and very much looking forward to giving it my 120% after our baby arrives! I've gotten a wonderful first impression so far and excited to keep...
