My view on Piggly wiggly is this store was ran better under the previous store supervisor. Because if when a person works there for a while and new store supervisor come in and then all of a sudden she or he takes you off the schedule. And was told to come in and talk to the store supervisor. and you do only for her to say that she can't work with you that her blood pressure can't handle it seems to me she in a job position that she don't need to be in she don't deserve to be a supervisor she can't handle her job. Also that's not a legit reason to let somebody go if anything. I think she needs a be fired her self. When becoming a manager you're supposed to manage the stores products coming in and out manage hours of employees and manage employees. If whatever reason you can't handle the employee. Then you have no rights to call yourself a manager. Personally if somebody does something as an employee did I deemed that they're breaking the rules of the store. I would tell them to clock out and go home for the next 3 days if they do it again the next two times on the third time I would let them go. But the manager herself should be reprimanded for her actions for a simple fact she let this young man go all because. She wanted to hire her nephew in his place. And also giving him all the hours and not all the other...
Read moreWhen i entered the store, i was confronted with the worst odor that permeated the entire store. This was second time that i visited this location, so the first visit, I thought maybe it was a bad day, but months later, while on my way home, i stopped in to pick up an onion and bell pepper and there was the worst stench throughout the store. I will never buy meat or any prepared food from there, future more, i will never return to that location, in addition to the Phenix City AL location. Additionally, the prices marked on the grocery items are higher at the register. The bell pepper sign indicated 60 cent each, but the cashier said they were 99 cent each. I had to go back to produce and retrieve the sign. Those locations need to be closed for serious fumigation and...
Read moreI haven't been to this Piggly wiggly in quiet some time. I see the hours have changed, no longer 24 hours. I also a spike in alot of prices of the products. The honey ham I usually buy here has gone from 4.99 to over six dollars. Chicken tenders that used to be 11.99 are now 15.99. prices are definitely not what they used to be. I found some cheap chicken and a few pork chops and made my way out. Even the meat had dead flies on it, couldn't tell if it was inside or outside the pack. Definitely not Frank's anymore, nor the upscale Piggly Wiggly it used to be. I think I will just continue to shop on my...
