Robb was a fantastic photographer and a perfect fit for our wedding. The 1 year journey from consultation to wedding was very smooth, and Robb and his team were fully prepared for our big day. Robb invited us to his home for our first consultation and did a great job of understanding what we were looking for while also laying out his style. We met Robb through our event coordinator, who had him as their photographer for their wedding. Robb went through that photo album and actually found a picture of me and my wife at their wedding and sent it to us without us even asking, which was a nice gesture that made it feel like we already worked with him :)

What appealed to us the most was that Robb operated in such a seamless and fluid way, capturing all the moments we wanted while they happened, without us even realizing they were being captured with how fluid his team operated on the day of the wedding. We did an engagement photo shoot last year, and even during the dedicated photo shoots, our poses, setting and vibe felt like we were just taking a walk through the park. Normally I get quite tired of photos, Robb didn't over do any poses or settings and encouraged us to just be ourselves while capturing the natural dynamic that me and my wife had, conversing and interacting with us well, which never made posing a chore. Robb and his team also worked very well with our videographer, and between the ceremony, reception, and event at our home, the two teams did a great job of coordinating and working together with our event coordinator. Robb has a lot of experience with Indian weddings, and did a great job to understand our various rituals and schedule to capture all the right things. With such a large guest list, Robb did a great job to get pictures of everyone, and capture the excitement of the dance floor, all the decorations, and everything in-between. Robb McCormick doesn't need another 5 star review, so consider this a 10 star review. He is extremely talented as a photographer and you should hire him for any event you want captured, stunningly, with to die for photos. Side note- when we booked him he said what all wedding vendors say "let me know if you need anything". ok sure thing. But here's the thing...he really meant it. About 6 months before my wedding I had a breakdown like I had never had. I had regrets about my dress, no idea how I was going to my hair, the list goes on etc. I honestly felt like I was going crazy. So, for whatever reason, I emailed Robb. I showed him pictures of my dress and talked about all the things with my hair and my bridesmaids etc. He called me back and talked to me for almost 2 hours. He was so helpful and understanding and seriously I felt so relieved to know that a professional like Robb was invested in my wedding and he was able to provide suggestions and his own thoughts and he made me feel like I wasn't going crazy but that what I was going through was totally normal. In addition to his fabulous, irreplaceable council, he is seriously the best photographer. Him and his assistant (for my day it was Anna, whom we had to rename Tatiana because it was so confusing) were on time, excited, super professional and the sneak peek he's given me makes me so so so excited about the rest of the pictures. If I ever move away from Ohio and need a photographer, I’d sooner fly Robb out than find someone else. I cannot say enough good things about him! Not only does he have an incredible talent, he’s also a wonderful guy.

My fiancé and I are both women, and a HUGE part of planning and booking vendors for our wedding was finding people who are LGBTQ+ friendly, and not just for profit. We wanted to support vendors who care about us and our rights as a couple, and who were just as excited to share our love story as we are.

With Robb, we found just that. From the moment I saw his photos, I fell in love and knew he had an incredible gift to be able to capture unique love stories. From the lighting and composition, to the emotion captured in each shot, I knew I wanted Robb to be our photographer. My only concern was that I didn’t see any LGBTQ+ couples in his gallery, but that went away once we met with him.

Robb was SO friendly right from the get go, and before we could even mention it, he told us that he’s never worked with an LGBTQ+ couple before but that he’d be honored to have us as his first. It was such a relief to see how supportive he was and how much he genuinely wanted to work with us.

So far, we’ve had our engagement photos done and our wedding is just a few months away. The engagement photos are a dream and capture our love so beautifully.
