Rafters Beer Pub — Restaurant in Columbus

Neighborhood dump, we were accosted by a drunken Vietnam vet for one of us wearing a USSR shirt (russian Hockey team). When my wallet was picked up by someone with sticky fingers last month (2 hours I was there, I didn't even get up to pee, I didn't move), I searched the bar for 20 mins and then went home and cancelled my credit cards. I came back w a giant mag lite THAT NIGHT and tore the place apart for over an hour. I even looked out back in the dumpsters. Then it magically appears the next morning? No way. I really resent that I was repeatedly told by the staff that I must've lost it in my own car. No, one of the trusted locals picked it up, decided he was going to be discovered via the cameras in the bar, and ended up stashing it in the back, by the pool cues (after I searched the place), where I spent 20 mins searching the night before? Like I said: no way. I don't mind there are thieves in the world, that's to be expected. But to tell yer customers they must've lost their own wallet in their own car, when it was really taken by one of yer less than honest customers? Come on. That ain't right. You could've just announced "hey, who took this guy's wallet? Give it back and we're all good" - I didn't call the cops, did i? No. My suggestion would be when yer paying customers get ripped off by yer less than honest customers, maybe believe them, instead of insisting they "left it in the car"?

Perfect if you like the "average neighborhood beer joint" atmosphere. Bartenders pour a good drink, prices are fair and location convenient but I would recommend parking in the rear because it can be a challenge to get out of the front lot.
