PLEASE READ, especially if you are a woman!!! ** I highly doubt all of these reviews are sincere. Don't get baited in the way I did. I took my laptop to this location for a screen replacement and was supposed to pickup 5 days later. They charged me a $200 deposit. At the 5th day, El didn't bother to contact me, so I called and then went to pick it up. He claims he replaced the screen, and that the battery needed replacement. I asked if he tried charging it, to which he seemed surprised, as if he hadn't thought of that idea on his own. I told him that it hadn't been charged since April, so he told me he would charge it and work on it more and to come the same day by 7pm. I went there and he claimed the computer wasn't working and was still trying to order a new battery presumably on my dime. That's when I realized something wasn't right, so I went to pick it up. He wouldn't give it to me, claiming they were closing in an hour and didn't have time to take the new screen off. I went back the next day and they charges me a $50 diagnostic fee. I get right home, charged it for 30 min, and it powers RIGHT ON! So now, I'm feeling as though I was charged the diagnostic fee in vain. I went back to speak with him and he started yelling and screaming at me where I had to repeatedly ask him to raise his voice. Bc I was calm, poised, and respectful while talking, I found that the way he spoke to me to be EXTREMELY intimidating, and I wish my husband was in town so thar he could have gone with me. There is no way he would have spoken that way to a man. He claims I accused him of something, which I did not, however, his behavior confirms he was not being honest and that he does not respect women...especially when they don't agree with what he is doing. I calmly asked his name and left with intentions of contacting his boss...which I did. This "gentleman" was far far worse. I called the owner at the Zettler store and he asked me what happened. Midway thru my explanation, he LITERALLY started screaming into the phone like a maniac. He asked what I called to tell him this for? What did I want him to do? Am I calling to leave a verbal review? I was so shocked that I literally called him a maniac and hung up the phone. I realize that some ppl lack emotional intelligence and professionalism, but these two men are borderline VIOLENT. I know ppl complain simply bc they don't get their way, but I am a small business owner myself, and would not write a review such as this for no reason. I drove in to pick up my phone that was "fixed" They told me there was a problem of something being loose or disconnected in the SIM They replaced the screen as well. My assumption based on all these good reviews is that they would test it before handing it over to me... so I left
After arriving home, my phone wasn't working .. I talked to a person who said he would replace some small cable connection in the phone. He said it may cost 30 dallors for a part he had to order.. I was OK with it
Obviously they didn't test the phone before handing it to me.
I brought my phone back in and the tech knew nothing about the issue " because he didn't work on it" I explained everything over again as well as what the other tech told me.
I went home I called multiple times on the status of my phone no answer or call back to avoid unnecessary trip to store
I drove back to the store to see what the status is. It was done and " fixed" again. I asked if I could sit in his store to make sure its working before driving home. The phone malfunctioned right in front of him
Again they did not test before handing it to me. I don't know if he replaced a cable or not He said maybe it's it's virus issue I gave him my unlock code
Two days go by in-between I called them for status. No answer
I drove back in and they told me I have a bad mother board refunded me cost of screen but I still had to pay labor for this wonderful service
I don't have a problem when things go wrong, This is inexcusable
I called them back to explain.my displeasure and was respectfull in doing so. The manager was defensive RUDE. Argumentitive
One excuse was " we didn't have the unlock code" I offered that to them when I first brought the phone in. They said they didn't need it as they would go into the maintenance mode to fix. I found that very odd. You know the problem, why did you not ask for it?
As mentioned earlier They also asked if the phone was unlocked to any carrier . I said yes any SIM will work
It was amusing that another customer picking up his computer asked them to test it in the store before leaving as he had the same problem as me
If it' it's an more advanced problem, I would stay clear. They can fix...
Read moreThis has been my worst experience so far, and It's really sad to say that it was my own people, people from my country, who tricked me. I came in with iPhone 11 PLUS only needing a screen replacement; and I ended up needing a whole phone replacement after dealing with such dishonest workers. Musa, or the manager whatever his name was, told me he would replace my old screen with a fully functional and high quality screen. Turns out when the process was finished, after leaving the store I noticed my IPHONE would die sometimes at charge 40/50%, the back camera was completely black and would not work, calls kept on dropping, phone was lagging heavily, and then finally after a few weeks; a "sos" (Literally) message appeared in the corner of my screen saying its not functioning properly because the phone recognized a foreign/fake screen that messes with apple technology and its functionality. So, when this "sos" appeared also , it kept saying "NO SIM" even though my sim was still inside my phone but what I noted was that the screen is what caused my phone and its service to stop working or not function properly. When I took it to apple they could not even fix the original phone any longer, nor could I trade the phone because it no longer contained JUST apple technology. A WHOLE PHONE , A WHOLE ,1000 US dollars went to waste because of this man and sadly; working with Arabs aren't professional or compassionate @all because he woudn't even allow for a refund and didn't not communicate or care much for my concerns. BUT HOPEFULLY this message, this review will make him care, and take his job and role of integrity and honesty seriously because a 1,000 dollars is A LOT of money when you have to work two weeks and half our your whole month just to make that 1,000 dollars along with managing the money for the rest of your necessary needs and bills.
