My kw had existing cable when I bought it. Once I got the radio installed, I had absolute garbage reception. After visiting the radio doc. I've got clear crisp transmission. So far, I've estimated roughly 2.5 miles range compared to 20ft lol. One thing that caught me off guard was that I was asked to run the wire myself inside the dash and out to the mirros, along with some shiny new antennas. I had no problem with im a big DIY guy and like learning new things. Tunned the radio right in front of me. Doc is good at what he does 💪

Awesome service. Came in and diagnosed my problem and showed me what to do and how to fix it almost instantly. Went over antenna placement, ground placement, equipment quality. Went ahead and did everything he told me to do, Helped me tune my antenna and now I’m reading 1.0 SWR on every channel. New to the CB world and took the time to explain most of the features my radio had and how to use it. Was very honest and very reasonable with prices. He went over my needs and gave me his honest opinion about what i needed vs what i wanted. Can’t ask for better...

I drove up from Littleton with my old Cobra 18LTD to troubleshoot the mic as well as the main unit. This CB fits into a special unique-sized enclosure limiting me to only this size of radio for my restored 1985 Ford Pathfinder 4x4 van.
