I just wanted to take a minute to express how impressed I am with the quality of service I received at Farmers Home Furniture in Commerce GA. Firstly, I needed a combination sofa/ bed to put in my 2nd bedroom/ office area. When I entered the store I wasn’t bombarded by any fast talking salesperson. I was able to look around and Roda ( a really personable associate) told me if I needed any help just let her know. I told her what I was looking for and they had several styles, colors and, models to choose from. What was amazing is that the store was having a sale the following weekend and she urged me to come back to receive a marked down price and the model that I picked that day was an overstock. So, I came back the first day of the sale and true to her word I received the initial overstock discount along with the sales discount and paid a minuscule amount down for Farmer’s to hold it until I got paid. Everyone there are very friendly and helpful. The merchandise is so diverse and affordable. I have already picked out a beautiful computer station for my office and I have my heart set on a beautiful Living Room Suite with some unique artwork and vases to boot. Went in to buy a powerlift recliner and found one that I liked and was told that I could get 25% off as well as other discounts and my daughter would purchase it when she came to Georgia from Texas. The deal had already been made, as I was having major shoulder surgery and needed that particular chair. It was to be delivered that same day. On Saturday, 08/09/2025 so that it would be in my home prior to my surgery, but when we went in they went back on their guaranteed price and would not honor the guaranteed price. They said it was a special order, but it had been in the store the whole time. Needless to say I did not get a chair for my recovery that I needed in time and am very disappointed in this furniture store because I really wanted that particular chair and had to go somewhere else and settle for one that I don't like at all. All I can say is that Farmer's furniture should have honored their word. It has definitely made my recovery painful as I had to take a much smaller chair with no room to be comfortable. I wish I could leave no stars. First, I did a contract with them and was supposed to get a free electric cooler. I went the next day and paid it off with a credit card. I walked out and had to go right back in because he didn’t give me my $300 I paid down. They wouldn’t let me have a cooler because I paid it off. (Shouldn't matter because I opened account) Then the guys were careless shoving it through my door and making the staples come out on the back. Now using my recliner it is very uncomfortable. No cushion whatsoever. I feel the wood in the bottom where I sit and bars or something on my back. They won’t refund because of comfort. Like you really know what it really feels like in the store. It’s so uncomfortable. Then I asked if I could bring back the battery pack because they screwed me by charging $239 when I seen on the instructions with the chair that you can get one for $50.
