Merb's Candies — Local services in Concord

The blonde haired lady who works at this store is a real witch who needs to avail herself of a pair of strong reading glasses. Today (4/16/2022) I went to the Concord Village store to purchase one 2 pound box of dark chocolate caramels to give to my Mom on Easter, and I asked if they had a one pound box as a gift for my next door neighbor. They rang them up and I paid the ticket. On my way out to my car, I thought I should check the one pound box for my neighbor, just to make sure what she had sold me was accurate, and I saw that it said dark chocolate caramels-assorted. Two years ago I had purchsed a two pound box of dark chocolate caramels, and the box she sold me was a combination of dark chocolate and light chocolate caramels. Today I IMMEDIATELY walked back into the store and told her she had given me something different that what I asked for. This lady has zero customer service skills, and a hard attitude to accompany. To her, it didn't matter that she had given me the wrong product. She pointed to a sign on the wall which stated "All Sales Are Final", and said I couldn't return it. Stopped in here when passing by. This is the satellite location of the Grand Avenue one, but it still has all the goodies you’d want. They have a large selection of August sale items, displayed of some delicious goodies, and teeny tiny baskets, perfect for your shopping needs. I called the one one South Grand and asked for a price on something and got told she was in a different room at the moment and couldn't tell me. Lost a customer that quick for not checking a price. If you want to keep customers say could you hold on a minute so I could check the price for you. Nope not even that. Oh well got what I was looking for...
