Very expensive and rude people running it. I asked the guy where something was so I know he knew English but he starts yelling at me in his language and takes me right to it. They have absolutely no respect for Americans but they leave their country and come here to buy a buisness and they want you to spend your money with them but treat you like your trash....no thank you and enjoy eating your bowl of ....Richard....that's as nice as I can put it. For those that aren't familiar with this term......what name is short for Richard? The prices are higher than a larger market. But there's quality. The produce is VERY good. Much, much better than most Mom-and-Pops'. I don't drink alcohol, but I love N.A. beer. Solano Market has a fine selection with competitive prices. And, very important, they keep 'em cold. San Miguel Carneceria has all of the cuts that are typical of this type of butcher and it's a high standard of quality. Nice to have a neighborhood butcher, too. Seriously, the prices are the only thing that keeps them from receiving a 5. The place is clean, it's staff is friendly enough (not as friendly as the previous ownership though.)
