I am personally disgusted with how Iām being treated at this store & I hate singling people but this one bald, African American male with a mustache has an attitude with me whenever I check out. I watch his interactions with people of color and itās sad. He doesnāt smile. He isnāt cheery. He literally treats us like second hand citizens. Today I only had 3 items to check out and the person before me had 2. He scanned his items, smiled, hee-hawed it up, and placed his 2 items in the front part of the cart. Told him thank you have a nice day. Me? He scanned my items, 2 avocados and an ice cream sandwich box, and left them on the counter. Told me the price and WALKED AWAY FROM THE REGISTER. I squinted my eyes while I grabbed my items. Smh. I work in retail myself. You donāt ever walk away from the register when you have customers waiting. I looked back as I was leaving and heās smiling at the next white man. Thatās cool and all but please treat all of us the same. The time before that I checked out he said heās not giving back cash back, & ok? You didnāt tell the lady in front of me that. I donāt even ask for cash back. Thatās what banks are for. š¤·š½āāļøThennn maybe 2 days after I moved to Texas I needed some wine. So I go to Aldiās & shows him my i.d, he asks if I have another i.d. Uhh why would I? I just moved here. Like make it make sense. Every time I come in there while he happens to be working his aura gives me the willies. Other than him,...

I highly recommend this store in particular and the Aldi chain as a whole. The absolute best thing I recommend is the inexpensive, fresh produce, much of which is organic and can be found in the refrigerated section(s) with a sign marked Organic and fresh eggs that are regularly priced anywhere from .99 to $1.17 a dozen. The only downside is the limited variety of items throughout the stores but the quality and pricing make it worthwhile to me.
Be sure to bring a quarter if you will need a shopping cart. Your quarter will be returned to you when you return the cart to the corral where you received it.
Aldi does not accept coupons so you can safely leave yours at home or elsewhere, but do bring your own box or bags as none are provided.
I have seen comments or reviews here and elsewhere about "stupid" or "lazy" employees not bagging your groceries. The cashiers seem to fulfill multiple roles and must be quick and responsive so bagging is left to the customer as doing so would greatly slow them down leaving them unavailable to assist others or causing others to have to wait longer than necessary. I would rather use the bagging station at the front of the store to bag my groceries as I wish rather than directing someone else in what probably seems an arbitrary...

When I tried to get my money back on a pizza ( that tasted like soap) the mgr. refused to give me my money back and never even offered me another one.She finally gave me a refund after an argument, and said "I'm going to give you refund this time"..she even told me to leave "her" store when I wanted her boss' name. I called the corporate headquarters and reported this incident and they opened a "case" on the occurrence.. They immediately contacted the Dist. Manager in this area and she (Amy) took care of the issue. She went to the store and had a training session with the staff. She contacted me and advised me of here actions and told me that I was completely right and said she was sorry on behalf of Aldi, herself as manager. They also sent me a 10 dollar gift card for my trouble in the store and also said I had a free pizza if I wanted one...I was surprised that an asst. mgr. DID NOT know the store policy...and how she...
