Whataburger — Restaurant in Texas

Me and my husband were here on Saturday night and let me say that this was by far the WORST experience I have ever had. We waited in line in the drive through for over 20 min, and at the time that was not a problem to me since it was after 8pm on a Saturday night. Once we got up to place our order, the person taking orders did not know what they were doing at all. My husband had to repeat our very simple order 3 times before I jumped in and had to repeat the same order another 4 times. After I took over trying to place the order, the girl who then also took over from the first person was EXTREMALY rude and VERY disrespectful. Then we get to the window to pay for our order and I had the person at the order repeat it back to us and what do you know, its WRONG AGAIN. I explain to the person at the window that that the order was not right and again gave him our order. I had them read it back to me, again it was wrong so I spelled out the order 1 item at a time. We pay get our drinks and then had to wait another 15 min for our food. I should have checked the order once it was finally brought out to us but at this point I'm so tried and just want to get home. Get home and open the bag and our whole order was not only WORNG but also cold and soggy. I live less than 10 min from this location. This was our third time at this location and I would love to belive it was just a bad night, however the first 2 times we not much better. We will never go back to this location again. Updated Dec 13, 2021 [2 stars and barely holding] ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER Yet again this location rarely gets orders correctly. Tonight's order was no exception. If I hadn't double checked my order, I would have left without two pies. The girl handing out the order knew exactly what I had ordered, but no one bothered to check before handing out. Plus asking for a receipt these days seems to be like an act of Congress.

Oh, and don't bother ordering cheese on anything because you won't likely get it.

Last week, our order was wrong too. I ask myself why on earth do we continue to frequent this location.

Updated July 8, 2021 [2 stars] Sadly things continue to get worse. Order wrong again and was given no receipt when told was in bag. This time I called to speak manager. She was nice and apologized. Only thing left to do is to tell them next time.

Updated June 6, 2021 [3 stars]: Usually dependable turns for the worse. Out of onion rings, which at least they told me a head of time. But then I ordered cheese, paid for cheese, but received no cheese.

I see a bad tread for too many fast food restaurants off 1488. And now the once great Whataburger has fallen down on the job. Sad day in Texas. Perhaps someday they can restore my faith.

This place has gone downhill. The service takes forever now, and the quality of the burgers is abysmal. You will either get an item missing, wrong, dry, or drowning; there is no in-between. Yesterday, they gave us attitude in the drive thru after ignoring us for 15 mins at the window (we only ordered 1 side of fries) because we also had a separate mobile pickup but we're told to ask for it there since we had to order the extra fries separately. When the people in the window finally came and handed us our fries and we told them about the mobile order and what we were told, the guy goes "Well, we were just informed. It's going to take a minute. Pull up." Like, yeah dude. I get that you were just informed. I would've told you sooner if you had came to the window sooner instead of making eye contact several times and flat out ignoring us for 15 minutes. 🫠 This is the usual at this location.
