My men's wearhouse experience started off rocky visiting another store about 30 minutes north of silver spring. They didn't have the inventory for my size (completely average build) so I went to the Silver Spring men's wearhouse.
I received excellent service and assistance getting a suit ready and tailored for my wedding coming up soon. Left an extremely happy customer, great product at a great price.
I then returned again a mere 2 days later to get some final items in preparation for the big day, and was treated so coldly as if I were just a thief. Days after spending several hundred dollars I couldn't get eye-contact much less actual service in a completely empty store. I looked at a few dress shirts and the seeming manager on duty moved to watch me and make sure I knew that he could see me. I would've happily taken "Excellent Customer Service" rather than a dude just making sure I'm not stealing anything while staring down at his iPad being as unhelpful as possible. The associate showed me a few selections of shirts and ties as if she was getting her teeth pulled, it was so uncomfortable I would've just left if my wedding wasn't literally the next day. I rented a suit from this Men’s Wearhouse location (8514 Fenton St, Silver Spring, MD) on December 12, 2024, for an event in February 2025. I canceled the rental on February 3, 2025, and was promised a refund of $202.46.
Over 3 months later, after visiting the store more than 10 times, I still have not received my refund. The employees, including the manager, repeatedly gave me false promises, excuses, and contradictory answers, but no actual solution. They wasted my time and showed zero professionalism or accountability.
I eventually had to escalate the issue to corporate just to get a response. Next step will be reporting to BBB and my bank if I didn’t get any response from corporate.

While getting dressed for the wedding one of the cuff links separated from the back of the design side and the actual link. The quality was very poor. Upon returning the cuff links for an exchange or refund, my husband was first encountered by a customer service associate that called over another associate named David, without explanation how he would assist me better/instead. David approached me with the assumption that my cuff links were “rentals” before requesting or reviewing my receipt of purchase.
