Woodside Urban Park — Attraction in Maryland

Nice little area for walking a dog, wonderful for neighborhood kids with a tennis court, skate park, handball court, and playground. Loses a star for maintenance- there is a fountain of some kind that has never worked in the year and a half I've lived here so it's just stagnant rain water. Also the basketball court has no hoops on the rims, and there are a number of benches in various states of disrepair. There's a ping pong table with no paddles, seems they were stolen...

Small park nested at the corner of Georgia avenue and Spring street. It has kids playground, a picknick area, basketball court, racquetball area. Unusual is fountain and gazebo around it. Also there is skateboard area. The park has light so basketball area pretty live till probably midnight. Downside is that there is no parking except on-call street and in Parking garage on Cameron street - about 10...

I like the fact that it is close to downtown silver spring. At the same time, it is a park that is quite idle for family who want to play ground tennis, basketball, and skate boarding.
