Typical IG hairstylist…with a constitution list of rules and booking services. First of all she was not friendly and did not say hello upon me walking in. I booked a trim and she did not do the trim but charged me for it. I asked her what about the trim granted this was after she had done a braid down (I guess I should have spoken up earlier but then again how do you not know what your client booked??) and she said she was too into the music that she wasn’t even paying attention to my split ends?? Like how are you a LICENSED hair stylist and you don’t pay attention to the health of someone’s hair? She could have apologized and taken the charge off or said next time you come in your trim is free. Anyways I’m grateful that she was able to do a braid down for me even though I didn't select it on the booking website BUT then again I didn’t because too much was going on and I actually got confused since the booking/add on services isn’t straight forward and you literally have to book for EVERYTHING. She listened attentively to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions, and thoroughly assessed the condition of my hair and scalp.

Before getting started, she took the time to educate me on scalp health and walked me through a personalized treatment plan. Her knowledge and professionalism are truly unmatched.

The service itself was exceptional. Asia treated my scalp, deeply hydrated my hair, gave me a much needed haircut and finished with a silk press that I literally can’t stop touching—it's that flawless. My scalp feels refreshed and rejuvenated, and I left the studio feeling like a brand-new version of myself.

I came across her work on TikTok and thought she seemed talented, so I decided to book an appointment. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great.

When I arrived, there was no greeting or introduction, and throughout the appointment she was quiet and seemed cold and standoffish. I don’t usually mind a quiet session, but a little communication, especially about the process, would have been great. The music she was playing was also very loud and off putting. At the end of the appointment, when she finally spoke, she told me my hair was completely damaged and recommended shaving it all off. (Her words). Since my appointment, I’ve Found a new stylist and she was shocked on hearing that and explained that my hair type (Nigerian hair) is just naturally very strong and coarse, with only minor breakage at the back.
