Food Lion — Local services in Conway

My neighborhood grocery store. It does not have a great selection of items compared to fancier, higher-class stores like Harris Teeter, but it has most of what I really need at good prices. It does have good non-dairy ice cream, like Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia, and as a vegan I appreciate that a lot, although I worry about the effect on the waistline. It also carries specialty items like tabouli and hummus and even some artisan breads and gourmet olives. The cashiers and other staff are very friendly and helpful. I like them. This is our regular place to get groceries. We've been showing here at least 8 years and we've noticed that they've really started to carry more and more organic options and more brands that are "lesser known." It is not the largest Food Lion I've ever been in and it is a little dated and old but the people are always nice and you can tell that they work hard. It’s the closest store for alot of people in conway, the parkinglot is typical of a foodlion with a liquor store and a dollar store neighboring the store. Was trying to be friendly with the cashier and talk about how its ridiculous they have to lock up the deodorants and toothpaste because people stealing so much in the area.
