This is not the Gamestop location you want to go to in Cookeville. Go to the Gamestop next to Walmart off of Jefferson Ave. The Gamestop off of Jefferson Ave is respectful, they got out of their way to help you, and they listen to you.

This location on the other hand, I have never experienced a pleasant visit, and I have gone multiple times to this location only when the Jefferson Ave location didnt have something I was looking for in stock. The female associate there which I believe is the store manager never has a welcoming attitude. It is as if she hates her job and she takes it out on the customers with how she talks to them whenever they ask a question. She in particular is what makes the store feel cancerous as it is never a pleasant experience when I have to deal business with her. She will talk to you as if you dont know anything, and if you ask if she could check on anything, she won't and will make an excuse up so she will not have to check even when there is no other customers in the store. My most recent visit included her giving me the wrong product and when asked if she could maybe check to see if the actual product was misplaced in another location since the wrong product she gave me already was misplaced where the actual product was at, she told me it wasn't misplaced and didn't bother checking to ensure that the product wasnt misplaced elsewhere, which is just lazy.

Its that attitude problem where she thinks she knows everything but still manages to mess up and sell you the wrong thing which makes you have to come back to the store to experience her attitude again is what makes it so depressing to have to come to this location to buy something thats not in...

Went there to get a dualsense 5 controller they didn’t have any new ones, but they had preowned ones. I usually don’t get preowned ones. but the store manager there named Dan said they have been tested and they’re good to go. I bought one got home when I went to use it. The left thumb stick gets stuck when it goes to the far left and the mic on the controller does not even work. So I had to get a refund and go to a local game store and they had new ones, so yeah do not trust them when they say that they have tested the controllers. It's a gamestop what do in have to say go in buy game and leave except in my case. When I went a couple weeks ago they had a 4 games for 5 dollar deal with games that are 4.99 or under but they didnt have many good ones. I got watch dogs, cod advanced warfare, cod infinite warfare with mw remastered bundled, and NBA 2k16 which I will never play.
