Good products, but it would help if a dab bar customer trying to buy a puck wouldn't be ignored, dismissed after a single question about having a product, and being told no, and not asked again, until they close the menu and walk out. If you are willing to wait to be served, and need a dab or something, maybe check here, but if you are in a hurry, or cant tolerate rudeness, stay away from the bar, though the people working the counter seem to be okay, I suppose. The products are decent, saving it from a 1 or 2 star review.
Edit: I was originally intending on returning as a non-bar customer, but since I have to deal with the bar staff regardless, I'm just going to find somewhere else to buy my product. This isn't because of the quality of the products they carry however, as that metric they are fairly good at. While I may not be returning, that is a personal choice as I am autistic and was made uncomfortable. Im sure most people will have a fine time, but I will not be a returning customer any further. I encourage others to at least try it, as you may have a different experience than me, but I do say go with caution if you are not okay with a little gruffness. Not all of them are bad about it, but some are far more unreasonable than others. Im very familiar with the fact I did cause a minor issue in the past. But the level of disrespect I've been shown by 3 of the budtenders now...well, just like baseball, 3 strikes you're out. But again, just cause it's a strikeout for me, I'm sure plenty other people will do fine, just dont expect to make friends. Go in. Spend money. Leave. Thats my recommendation. Don't try to conversate, dont become friendly with the budtenders, and for the love all thats holy, ignore the bar and just get their overpriced...
Read moreI want so badly to like this place. Itâs so cool that they hire and pay local acts and have a full stage and sound system⌠but THE VIBES đđđ How can anyone stand the institutional fluorescent lighting? That place still feels like a Dollar General with bongs, and every single person I know who has visited or played there (of which there are dozens I can assure you) says the same thing. Harsh bright lighting, cold institutional feel, uncomfortable furniture, and often times the sound echos and warbles so bad due to the wide open space with no baffling or soft furniture. Even getting high AF doesnât help. There are solutions to this that wouldnât cost very much money, which is why itâs so perplexing. They seem to have plenty to spend as they pay the bands very well. The people who say the atmosphere is good are clearly not sensitive enough to tell the difference. Iâm a musician who has worked for venues and booked/played shows and hosted events for over 20 years so itâs not as if I have no experience in these things. I wish yall the best, I will try to support local music, but this place will never be the hot spot they want it to be until they get someone to fix the whack ass...
Read moreMy wife and niece loved this place, as it always seemed welcoming and accommodating. That is, until tonight (2025-07-25), when my wife was informed that her niece could not stay there by herself for the live music event; they did not have the courage or decency to address this with my niece directly. Full disclosure, my niece is an adult woman who was born blind, tics, and has tourettes, but despite her disabilities, she still wants to be able to do things on her own and does not require a caregiver. She has been to Hemp several times, and has even performed there before without any issue being brought up before now.
I have spent several hundreds of dollars of my hard-earned money there over the past couple of years for my wife and niece, since I myself do not partake, but after tonight, I will not spend another dime there after the way the staff there handled the situation and hurt my nieces feelings. A little empathy for someone's situation goes a long way, but a lack of it can go a whole...
