Stovers Liquidation — Local services in Cookeville

I have purchased from Stovers many times and always had great customer service at our local store in Murfreesboro. It closed and we had to purchase more porcelain pavers from the Cookeville location. I talked on the phone with a store representative several times on the tile we needed and sent pictures of the tile and the box along with item numbers so they knew exactly what was needed. I was told via text I was good to drive the over 1 hour to pick up the tile. When I arrived to get the tile it was not what I needed. The representative Claudia was great and very helpful locating the tile in another location, but I will have to make the drive back to Cookeville another week or so to pick up. I asked who texted me Stovers had my tile and to come on and get it. The manager, Michael said must have been a new employee, and is that all I needed. I told him I wasn’t mad but to drive both ways over 2+ hours for nothing was a bit inconvenient. I asked if he had to drive over an hour to pick up a product he was told was there and wasn’t how would he be. He said he would be ok with it and asked me if that’s all, as if he had more important things to do than take time for a customer that spent over $5,000 with his store in the last few months. I have been in the construction business all my life, and currently own my own business. I have never seen a place like this. I was looking for a new supplier for different things building houses. I purchased cabinets over 7k worth, and this place doesn't even stand behind anything no matter the amount. The manager will not respond when you call his cell phone, and tells the staff he can't answer the phone. This place is a joke!! Never ever purchase anything from this this stovers!!! I am trying to help the next person from being took and hurt. Please don't waste your money at stovers in...

Evwryone has been beyond helpful and Claudia and James have both gone above and beyond to help us. We ordered new kitchen cabinets at a fraction of the price and wait time, a few weeks ago, and went back today to work with them again for some hardwood flooring. We love the steals we can get, especially since we are still going for grade 1, on our own home.
