I would not recommend.

Let me start out by saying that I did not want to write this review, it's always my intention to support P.O.C. businesses and uplift. However, due to the unprofessional treatment I received, here we are.

It's worth stating that this my second attempt to get lashes here. I got my first set in January right before a trip and within a few days majority of my lashes on the right side started falling off. I was following at home care instructions that the store owner provided but they were still coming off. I contacted the shop owner and we agreed she would remove them for free. I ended up contacting the shop and canceled the removal appointment as most of the lashes had already fallen off within 2 weeks.

Fast forward a few months later. I was preparing for another trip and would be gone for a month. Although I was reluctant to get my lashes done here again, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and support her business. I got a set of classic lashes in within 1-2 days both lashes were falling out. All at home instructions were followed and I even slept on a silk pillow case.

I contacted the owner and she was also confused on why I was having so much fall out. I had to leave for the airport early the following day so I asked if she could squeeze me in to fix them and if not I asked if a partial refund could be issued. Reluctantly, she agreed to offer me a refund, asked for my cash app and said I would receive a partial refund in 1-3 businesses days.

It's been over 2 weeks now and I still have not received any refund and all my texts are being ignored.

For me, I'm not even upset about the lashes falling out as much as I am about the unprofessionalism and lack of communication. To be promised a refund and then ghost your client is so messed up.

She could have offered me a voucher or something once I return to town or at least respond to the text I sent. To be ignored tells me that I'm not valued as a client so I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Katlyn is such a top notch and high quality lash artist! Her pricing is competitive and not outrageous like some of the other artist in this area. She is so reliable, communicative and does exactly what you ask. The glue she uses it so sensitive, I have never left with burning eyes which says so much about her technique. Her studio is SO CLEAN and inviting. I love my appointments with her and look forward to...
