The Cove Theater — Local services in Copperas Cove

I wanted to take some time before writing this review to ensure my emotions didn’t cloud my perspective. However, after witnessing a recent comment from another parent at the party, I felt it necessary to share my experience. I booked a birthday party for my grandson in November, renting the entire theater for two and a half hours, which included a 90-minute movie and popcorn for all the kids. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the behavior of one of the employees. Upon our arrival, a female staff member entered the theater and loudly reprimanded the children for being on the stage and making noise. We were taken aback, having had no prior indication that the stage was off-limits. As the movie concluded, we invited the kids to the front of the theater to watch my grandson open his presents. However, when some children took longer than others to come down, the same employee returned, shouting at them to get off the stage again. At this point, no one was even on the stage. She then expressed that she could hear them from another room and demanded that everyone be quiet. This outburst left the guests, including us, shocked and uncomfortable. Due to the escalating tension, we decided to end the party early. As I was leaving, I requested that this employee contact Betina to discuss the situation. Instead, she chose to tell Betina that the kids were having "behavioral issues," which could not have been further from the truth. I would never allow such behavior at my events. When I tried to address the situation further, the employee confronted me very aggressively, standing chest-to-chest, insisting I was in the wrong. I asked her to have Betina contact me over the phone before stepping outside. At that moment, another guest expressed their frustrations with the employee's conduct, remarking that they did not seem suited for customer service. Ultimately, this led to the early conclusion of our party. Many parents and guests do not appreciate their children being yelled at, especially without cause. Noise is to be expected at any celebration. I hope my feedback encourages improvements in their customer service approach...

Went to a birthday party for a child there. Accommodations were great and place was clean. There was roughly about 18 kids around the age of 7 but they weren’t loud or rowdy. Not once but twice the employee there came and scolded the whole group abruptly. No child was excessively loud, the what look to be teenage girl running the place was solely annoyed at the fact she could hear footsteps. Even with any concern her etiquette in handling anything was wrong. Maybe speak to the host of the party on the side? Nope just yell rudely to kids and adults completely killing the mood and vibe of a happy celebration and causing an awkward silence. The venue itself was great just a terrible employee managed to ruin the environment for everyone there. Definitely would not suggest booking for any...

This charming old-fashioned theater offers the nostalgia of a small-town single theater showhouse with the comfort of modern seating. They have a wide range of films available and various themes. Concession stand offers many snacks but does not have the capacity for a kitchen like some other similar theaters like the Beltonian. Excellence ambiance in the heart of Coperas Cove, definitely a great destination for a classy date or wholesome...
