Meals On Wheels — Local services in Coraopolis

Called Coraopolis Meals on Wheels to sign up for meals. The lady was extremely rude. I live 7 minutes from the facility, I'm elderly, and a widow. Because I do NOT live in the Coraopolis borough, Moon Township or Crescent, (I live very close to the border of Coraopolis in Robinson Twp ) she said I was not eligible. Friends living in Moon and Cresent, Crescent being a 30+ minute drive, shake their heads at the unfairness and partiality. Meals on Wheels denied me, being less than a 10 minute drive away, but perfectly fine delivering meals 30+ minutes away. I have called several other possible options. Nothing. So for years I try my best to provide my own meals. However, I'm glad other folks are benefitting. There are definate discrepancies. I don't ask for much but being polite and caring doesn't cost anything. Perhaps this rude lady...

Barb was EXTREMELY rude. Called to get info for a family member and she was very short and cold. Would HIGHLY recommend hiring someone with some warmth and compassion. Based on that experience alone, I’m glad they don’t service the area my grandfather...
