America's Bridals Store — Local services in Corona

This was one of the most uncomfortable and upsetting experiences I’ve ever had while shopping. As someone of mixed heritage, I’ve never felt so excluded or judged simply for not fitting into someone else’s idea of what’s acceptable. I come from a multicultural family—my mother was born and raised in Mexico and came to the U.S. as an undocumented immigrant. She worked hard, learned English, and built a life here. That resilience and openness are what I carry with me.

Unfortunately, I didn’t feel any of that spirit of inclusion or respect in this shop. The energy was unwelcoming and, frankly, discriminatory toward anyone not part of the owner’s cultural circle. It was disheartening, especially considering our shared roots.

As for the store itself: the dress selection was very limited. The photos posted on their Google listing appear to be from large chain retailers like David’s Bridal—not from this actual location. When I tried on a dress, the fitting area was hot and uncomfortable. The owner was polite but not helpful. There were catalogs available, but when I inquired about ordering options, I was told they couldn’t actually order from them, which made little sense.

Overall, this was not a positive experience—emotionally or practically. I left feeling disrespected and misled, which is the last thing any bride should feel when searching for a dress for one of the most important days...

The owner Karla is beyond sweet, helpful, accommodating, and kind hearted! I have purchased several dresses from her and each time it has been such a lovely experience! On two different occasions I ordered the wrong size and Karla did not charge me and instead ordered me the right size and put the two that didn’t fit me into her inventory. That really impressed me! She also went out of her way and personally went to her vendor and picked up my dresses so I would have them in plenty of time and not have any stress! It is obvious that Karla’s excellent customer service and concern for her customers are the reason her last location in Corona, as well as her present one, have sustained the ups and downs of the economy as well as Covid. I had previously went to other bridal stores in Corona and none can compare to the gorgeous dresses that Karla carries as well as the exceptional customer service and professional alterations she provides! I highly recommend America’s Bridal store to anyone looking for a gorgeous dress that will be delivered on time along with professional...

I cannot express how helpful Karla is! She helped us so much with dresses and suits for my daughter’s quinceañera. Not only did we spend a lot of time at the store, Karla also worked hard for us behind the scenes. She gave me her personal cell number so we could work together outside the store hours. She was so helpful with finding me the perfect mother of the quince dress, along with our damas dresses, chambelanes suits, my daughters bouquet, and her bear. Her seamstress is amazing as well. She altered my daughters quince dress (which was bought somewhere else), my mother of the quince dress, a bridesmaid dress, damas dress, and other dresses for the family.
