Johnnie audio installation manager and Luna store manager are truly setting the bar for excellence when it comes to customer service. I had my system installed at a Best Buy while I was active duty in Virginia. There were some issues in the original installation. I came to this Best Buy and they replaced the melted fuse and lead power cable at no cost they really stand up to the lifetime warranty!.. Very Satisfied with the work performed.!!
Update from coast to coast and car being totaled Best Buy has honored the warranty
From the moment my wife and I rolled up to the car audio installation bay we were greeted with smiles and professionalism we came to this location for their car audio installation bay, came here in 2014 while I was in the military had an amp and speakers installed in a 2014 Mazda 3SGT and for over 10+ years if anything went wrong with it any kind of work needed; if the speakers were blown they stood behind the warranty work Even in different states such as Illinois and California. That said unfortunately in 2024 I was rear ended The vehicle was totaled beyond repair and apparently so was the stereo system the dual 12 inch ported speaker box the amp thank God I bought a warranty thank God for this Best Buy thanks to the techs who work in the car audio installation Bay they truly go above and beyond for their clients the rep set the equipment out tested it thoroughly, and in my eyes, is truly setting the bar for excellence when it comes to regards to customer service, he pulled my car up. He took the amp. He took the speakers. He tested him very thoroughly testing to make sure that when I went to claim for the warranty through Best Buy, that there would be no problem no charge. I have to say out of the many years that Iāve been coming to Best Buy 20+ years they stand behind their warranties when other companies say will give you this and we promise you that Best Buy delivers they honor their word they honor their contracts. They honor their warranty and they honor the work behind it. Iāve had speaker boxes and subs and amplifiers put into several different cars in different states. They have always honored the work I Iāve never seen a company honor the work in the warranty as good as Best Buy does and thatās why all these years I keep coming back Iāve had products speaker boxes, amplifiers, installed, in other states while on active duty military to be stationed in another state and Best Buy still honor the warranty
Miguel Best Buy tech in Schaumburg, Illinois who did the final test let us know since we were already here and had the equipment and it failed the test that we should pull around to the front and talk to either customer service or geek squad to have them do the warranty claim which is what my wife and I did we pulled the car around to the front of the store And when we walked into the front end of the store as the car audio installation bay is in the rear of the store. Once the sliding doors opened we were greeted by a host, the location is very clean smelled good floors were free of debris seems to me as though the store and its employees are very efficient very professional friendly and theyāre willingness to help goes far above what my expectations were this store is running as a very well oiled machine. All the agents or representatives seemed fairly happy and everybody seemed willing to go above and beyond.the customer service was truly setting the bar for excellence. Major shout out to Miguel auto tech; Awais Ahmed geek squadservices; & Chris Sass you gentlemen are truly setting the bar for excellence when it comes to regards to customer service you gentlemen truly went above and beyond to help my family truly grateful for you going well above and beyond my expectations you were able to help me get the warranty claim brand new equipment. He stated that he had the authority to make decisions like replace the old computer that was under warranty for a new one for the inconvenience if he deemed it necessary. Apparently he doesnāt think so or heās been lying to me as all I get is the ārunaroundā. One excuse after another. What a shame that a company has to resort to deflecting of responsiblilty as tactics to avoid doing what if fair and right for a paying customer. VISIT #5 (4.20.18) Was called in to come into the store to pick out a new computer - apparently an exception had been made and they are now willing to provide a new computer. When he arrives heās asked to pick out his new computer, he goes home to discuss a newer model for a $50 upcharge with his wife VISIT #6 (4.21.18) He goes in as Kevin the Geek Squad Manager calls to let him know he can get his new computer and take it home, when he arrives, heās refused the offer unless he now pays up front the full amount for the new computer and will get reimbused when his old computer gets returned to the store (could be an addāl 3 months) before they issue a refund. What a SCAM
I just spoke to Marcos this Saturday afternoon 4.21.18 and he cannot bring himself to say that what has happened amounts to bad customer service - he said that they have excellent customer service. I guess that would be a liability to admit that the above services are anything but steller.

I find one and I ask the girl working that section if it's a quick charge. The Box was unclear that's why I asked. She assures me that it is so I buy 2 and proceed to the register. When I get to my car I decide to open one of them up realizing that it is not a quick charge. So I have to walk back inside and return them. So I asked A different employee if they had quick charging car chargers. He said I don't know and then he said they should be in this section let's go look. At the end of the day they didn't have any so I drove all the way over there for them not to have it. Isn't Best Buy an electronic store shouldn't they have all this stuff and I understand if it was out of stock but they just straight up didn't have it. No it's not a big deal for me but but this is a big reason why stores like that are going out of business it would have been so hassle free to just go on Amazon and buy a car charger fortunately I needed it that same day. Is Amazon is the present and the future. Not only was it cheaper the description clearly sethe description clearly said quick charge it took one day to deliver right to my front door no need to waste gas. I know I sound like a Boomer but it's gonna be a while before I walk into a Best Buy again not for any sort of retaliation reasons but for the simple fact that they don't carry basic stuff the staff doesn't really know what's going on which I understand because at 1 point of my life I was A teenager who didn't give a c* about my job.
