I hope this review doesn't offend anyone. This is merely my taste. First of all, they only serve sandwiches till 3 pm...why?!?. It's not lunch special it's only a sandwich. I have never been to a restaurant where they only serve sandwiches till 3 and after that it's only main entrees. Moving on, okay let's take a look at the entrees, no mixed grill?!? Even though they have a picture of mixed grill on the menu!!! I think maybe at one point they had it and removed it to force you to get the $40/person meal, which is very pricey!!. Alright we ordered two entrees, beef kabob 7/10 and Kufta Kabob 5/10. Beef was just okay nothing special. Kufta lacks flavor big time, I am sorry check out "Mal el Sham" in El cajone and you will know what I am talking about. Both protein portions are small for the price. It comes with a full size side which is too much, If I have to eat a lot of rice and a lot of hummus with bread to get full, that's not a good entree. Why all Entrees come with garlic sauce. If you go to any Arabic restaurant they serve garlic sauce with chicken and tanhini sauce with meat!!! I have nothing against this restaurant the workers or the owner, this restaurant has I think 4 locations which means my review would not put a dent in their performance. But this is solely my take. Overall I was disappointed with the...

I lived in the Middle East for 6 years and know the food very well. I've tried all kinds of Mediterranean restaurants in California but nothing compares to this one. The mutabel or babaganoush and hummus is fresh and delicious. The beef shawarma and beef kabab (filet mignon) were expertly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The rice wasn't too hard or too soft and was deliciously seasoned as well. The falafel balls and kubbeh were fried perfectly with a crunchy shell and soft in the inside. Nothing was too salty or under flavored. We took home another meal of leftovers after we were stuffed. Lastly, the baklava wasn't too sweet like others, and it was exquisitely made with the freshest of pistachios. The manager Walid was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Very attentive. Everything tasted gourmet, so I was more than happy to pay their already affordable pricing. I'll be coming back here OFTEN, and I hope you...

We had a meal with Beef Shawarma, white cabbage, cucumber yogurt salad, and grape leaves. The Shawarma is good. It is chopped and well-seasoned, but perhaps slightly overcooked. I've had more tender Shawarma elsewhere. The white cabbage was the surprise hit, and we were fighting over the side. It is almost like a Sauerkraut, but not as acidic. It pairs well with the meat. That Pita was a surprising standout too. It is super soft and fluffy. If you pair it with the sauce they put, it is almost like an appetizer. For the cucumber yogurt salad, I was hoping for more zest from the yogurt, yet it's a little tempered by the cucumber. Still good. With the grape leaves, I assume they are mirroring Dolmas, though very understated with only rice and tomatoes.
If you go to the Corona location, it is a little hard to find. It is in the middle of a condo-complex/strip wedge. Drive slowly as it is sandwiched between...
