I dont do reviews. I have been in this restaurant plenty of times for their agua frescas and each and everytime, the employeeâs and head of the establishment have the most stank attitude. Todayâs experience was absolutely absurd. The Manager (head of establishment) has her son working the front. My friend and I were ignored for a good 5min before getting asked what i wanted. After paying i simply made the comment, next time try and greet your customers. Owner of the place SON responded with âi dont even work here like thatââŠare you not behind the register ringing up my drink?? proceeds with âi donât really care about customer-â as theres a NEW group of people, no CUSTOMERS in front of him. I walk away saying you should but okay, he decided to have a slick mouth and yell across the restaurant âyou should lay off the sugarâ (while other customers are seated and others waiting for their order to be taken). like HELLO?? âŠ.. MORAL: If youâre son doesnât like working at your restaurant, donât have him there. If your son doesnât have basic manners, do better. IF YOUR SON âDOESNT LIKE CUSTOMERSâ, (the people who are trying to enjoy their experience) DO NOT HAVE HIM WORKING THE FRONT. Simple. Have a blessed...
Read moreI worked at this place a few years ago, I donât know if they still have the same manager I hope not, but let me just say I didnât last long. The manager would yell at you in front of the customers but that was not the worse thing there. When I first was asked to wash the dishes I didnât expect for them to be so nasty, they would tell me to wash them really fast still leaving them with food and after serving drinks you would still see stuff from last drink, same from plates. Walking to the fridge was the worse, I would hold my breath to walk in there because of the horrible smell, after seeing all of that I never in the days I worked ate any of the food from there. I hope it all changed but in case it didnât just try checking your plate...
Read moreI do not often get to visit Tortas Sinaloa but it is a really great, authentic restaurant and I highly recommend it when in the area. They have so many choices of Tortas, great and fresh Aqua Frescas and smoothies.
Super accommodating for non-Spanish speaking patrons, Iâve never seen anyone being rude or snide. I see lots of different people come here and I like that, it warms me to think that people other than Mexicanâs embrace our food culture and try new things.
You cannot go wrong with a Torta here, just pick a meat or combination of meat and make sure you tell them any allergies you might have. I have allergies to Avocado so I get no creama because they mix guacamole into it.
I highly recommend this spot, pretty authentic...
