El Chivito Birrieria — Restaurant in Corona

Stood outside for 30 minutes to wait and be seated. Once sat down, menus were brought to us along with drinks. Everything was perfect. Ordered and I specifically mentioned we needed extra tortillas which server acknowledged and read back to us. Our food was brought to us and we were missing the extra food. I said no biggie, they will probably bring it shortly. Once 10 minutes passed by after having our food brought I saw that the extra condiment that was ordered was never brought. I got up and mentioned it to the clerk. I asked them if they would have the rest of the food ready they said it will come out shortly. Waited another 10-15 minutes and still nothing. By this time the food was cold, I was already upset and got up and told the clerk that our extras were never brought and we would like to check our. They wanted to amend and say if I still wanted them it will come out. I said no I will like to check out. They removed the extras from the check but that is besides the point. After paying they wanted to give me a pan dulce to make up for the inconvenience, but after wasting 30 min outside, not having food in order, waiting another 20 minutes for the rest of the food that didn’t get delivered, I decided to leave with my family. ☕️ Cafe de Olla (homemade Mexican coffee with a touch of cinnamon and cane sugar): This hot, robust coffee is just the perfect morning perk to start off the morning. The cinnamon and sugar are perfect, no cream needed. 🫙 Horchata (refreshing rice-based cinnamon beverage): This creamy drink is ice cold and refreshing. 🐐 Birria is slow cooked goat meat with special spices served with consome on the side. 🌮 Tacos Dorados (3 tacos folded and grilled on handmade tortillas, cheese, birria, onion, cilantro, salsa, and served with 8oz of consome): These crisp tacos are the perfect way to enjoy birria. They have all semblance of a taco but the birria is out of this world, rich, tender, and sabroso! Tacos are also a perfect way to dunk into the consome. If you have some left, be sure to drink it. It has all of the flavor of the goat and spices. 🌶️ Chilaquiles Plate with Birria and 2 Eggs (avocado extra): Perfect for breakfast but I think I could eat this any time of day! The green sauce on the chilaquiles is perfect with the birria. Breaking the yolk and mixing it with the consome from the birria and the green sauce is just mind-boggling! Inside is a cute little place, it feels very welcoming and warm. What's really cool is that there's a hand washing sink right by the entrance!

Menu is just a page! And that's beautiful. The simpler the menu, the more the kitchen and focus on quality!

Service was good! They were very friendly and helpful throughout our dining experience!

What we ordered: 🥤Pina Agua Fresca - super light, definitely taste the fresheness of the drink! 🥤 Horchata - the perfect balance of cinnamon, sugar, and rice. It's one of my favorites now! 🌮 Chilaquiles con Birria add 2 huevos - okay, this was amazing, the chips stayed crispy for a good chunk of the meal. The combination of the egg, cheese, green salsa, and Birria was chef's kiss they were so good! 🌮 Tacos Dorados - a crispy taco with cheese and Birria? Count me in! Adding the cosume, lime, and salsa. Amazing! And the taco didn't get soggy after 5 minutes.
