We hired Sunset Outdoor to make our dream backyard a reality with new hard scape, a pool/spa and covered patio area. We had an AMAZING experience with them from the start of the design process all the way through to build completion. We are so happy we went with Eric and Sunset Outdoor! Here are a few reasons why:

Top notch communication. Eric was the best at answering all questions, explaining all steps proactively, and always communicating often. This great, professional and knowledgeable communication instilled so much confidence in us as we worked through this process. This was really important to us as we heard that many pool contractors cause more stress than necessary just because they don't communicate well. During the build we knew every day what was going on so there were never any surprises. 3D design renderings included. These were so helpful to envision the future space. Eric walked us through the renderings and updated them in real time as we discussed feedback/ideas. Sunset also included everything needed for HOA and permit approvals which was great. EXTENSIVE knowledge of everything related to the pool building process. We had a million questions and Eric definitely knows what he is doing. From building questions to design/tile/finishes questions, pool equipment questions, pool operation questions etc - you could tell that he had years and years of experience and knowledge in this space. We could see their work in our community. We were able to visit other homes who hired Sunset outdoor to see things in person before making decisions. For me this helped immensely and was also nice to see how others had good experiences with them as well. Great crews and network. Everyone who worked on our backyard was professional and did great work. The work was always completed on time at every step as well! Our concrete is beautiful. The pool tile and stone work is top notch. Eric and Sunset outdoor also had great contacts for us to reach out to for HVAC relocation, landscaping and pool saftey fences. We had great experiences with all of their referrals as well. Their network always had great things to say about Sunset Outdoor.

Eric Dumani reached out to us after reading the review I posted. He came out and documented all of the items that were in my original post.

Eric validated our concerns and told us he and his company would take care of our issues and has done so.

I wish things had gone much better from the beginning, but I’m grateful that Eric has rectified everything. Because of this I have changed my rating from 2 to 5!

I highly recommend this company for your construction needs in your yard.

We hired Tony and his Company for our backyard remodel project in 2019 and believed we could trust this man to be honest and honorable. Unfortunately, after they rushed to finish our project, we had many problems!!! Firstly, they did not make sure the area around the pool and spa were able to be walked on without any problems, I ended up slipping and falling severely and hit my butt, shoulder and face. I reported this to Tony with photos and while he apologized and came back to fix the walking areas, I still suffered significant damages to my body and was in significant pain. As we have gone on through the years, we’ve found that they did not seal our driveway or backyard patio correctly. We brought out other companies to give their diagnosis and we found out they never cured the cement properly.

Additionally, Tony told us he would create a BBQ island that was amazing. Unfortunately, he made the island out of cement that was dyed a brown color and was subpar because it began cracking when the sun hit it. We eventually had to replace the whole cement top with Granite because it became impossible to care for. The stones we selected to surround our pool and BBQ island and the fence covering the pool equipment began falling off because his crew did not place enough product to cement all stones. As these stones began falling off, it was apparent that they used the sealant very sparingly.

As time has moved n, Tony and his son have refused to take our calls and have left us with inferior...

I had one of the greatest experience with a construction contractor in a while. This is my second review for Sunset Outdoor Creation Swimming Pool and I’m writing this review to express the gratitude to Tony.

Our pool was completed in February 2021 and we have Pentair pool system. One of the pool light went off and it needed a replacement. I contacted H2O Pro Pool, certified repair company for a warranty. Heath the owner of H2O Pro Pool was so hard person to be reached and not responsive for further inquiries. I didn’t like it from the beginning but went along because it was recommended by Pentair who provided the parts under warranty. About 2 months later, Heath finally replied and informed me that he is in the area and will be stopping by for the light replacement. He then left me a txt message stating that he cannot complete the work due to a complications.

After frustration with H2O Pro Pool’s unprofessional service, I reached out to the pool contractor Tony who originally installed my pool system for an advice. Tony immediately sent out 2 of his crew members to replace the light at no cost and they completed the work within 20 minutes.

In the past, I had some bad experiences working with other contractors for roofing, landscaping, and renovation. As soon as I contact for a warranty service , I got runarounds.

Tony genuinely cares about his customers, consistently going above and beyond. He diligently follows up with updates and proactively ensures the pool remains in excellent condition. Owning a pool comes not only with maintenance but repairs. Parts will break and you will need someone accountable and reliable.
