I tend to travel to different gaming and collectible stores to kind of get a vibe of what's going on in certain areas in certain cities coming into this one the guys seemed very pleasant but more into talking amongst themselves as opposed to customer service on top of that they top of that they seemed like like no 1 keeps up with the store it is very messy as far as items everywhere Looks a bit disorganized I could be wrong about this but I've never seen A store a store like that I also noticed that I decided to test the theory if they pay more than tronix or vice versa Not only do they pay less than a rival store store they also pay the lowest possible amount brought in well over $350 worth of games and was told we can offer you a $101 store credit or $52 cash When I mentioned that that was quite low they stated that it was due to corporate email saying that they were taken in too many items which goes back to show that they are not properly organizing their items to put out on the sale floor so instead things are just backing up But yet items that they appear to pay minimal for they sell at the maximum value sometimes more than eBay or Amazon or any other site would sell them 4 I feel like if this is a corporation that the main office should know that this location does not need to be operating and if it continues to operate they should bring in people who are well aware of how to run a business and/or operat it at least I don't see this place lasting that long especially compared to a rival store with excellent customer service such as tronix in...
Read moreOwner is absolutely rude. Normally don't fill out things like this, but went in to trade some stuff in and buy a few things. I understand the owner was likely stressed due to recent circumstances, but as I waited for about 30 minutes to be helped, I had noticed the mother he was working with had a laundry list of games from her son. He obviously didn't have everything, so on her way out, I mentioned one of the other local stores that may have other things she may want to look at. The owner then barked words at me, suggesting I was soliciting (which only applies to employees of a company as far as I've read in local ordinance.) He then proceeded to frustratingly explain the store to the customer before she left in a hurry, disinterested. At this point I was clearly irritated by his overly defensiveness and lack of tact. If he had simply asked me not to talk about it politely, it would have been much simpler of a situation. I proceeded to mention how I was just trying to help her find games he obviously didn't have in store, and offer some basic human kindness. After which he said something along the lines of "I'm sure the police would say something different." I know the owner is clearly autistic, but it's no excuse for him suggesting police interference and potential legal action when I simply hoped to help someone find a gift...
Read moreI've been into this store several times to look and in the past was usually not engaged with by employees at all, just browse in silence (which was preferable). They have an interesting selection of used items which are usually priced higher than what I expect considering their dirty/poor condition (speaking of toys/figures in particular) but the prices tend to be annoyingly on par most of the time if I search on eBay and find one in good condition priced lower but shipping costs make up the difference. So the sales floor has large areas where things are dirty or in piles. The inventory intake/processing has spilled over onto the sales floor which is not ideal at all and I just can't emphasize enough, the toys and figures will have boxes so dirty they look like they came from careless storage and couldn't even be wiped down. I don't really wish to make detailed comments on the sales people but I will say that I do not find most of them at all inviting to interact with from what I overhear and have experienced directly and the checkout process seems like it could be much quicker if...
