Kika Desserts and Cafecito — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

An honest review;

We went Sunday 02/16/25 @ 4:20PM and we all tried something different. I got the mango roll, my boyfriend the strawberry roll & my father in law a banana cupcake. My daughter got a cookie.

I absolutely loved the mango roll, it had a unique taste & it was delicious. ⭐️ 5/5

My boyfriend liked the strawberry roll, but it was not so much strawberry but tasted more like whipped cream. ⭐️ 4/5

The cupcake was a little dry, the taste was ok but definitely expected more after trying the rolls. Was a little disappointed but it’s ok. The other desserts made up for it. ⭐️ 2/5

The cookie was more of a crunchy cookie, not sure if it wasn’t fresh anymore but the taste was still good. 👍🏻 ⭐️ 3/5

Cons: 👎🏻 We asked to eat our desserts there, as they had tables but we were told we weren’t allowed to eat there by the girl who grabbed our desserts. & the orher person helping her. We were confused as there were tables and chairs, and it looked like there had been plates used by previous customers. I do believe it was maybe a mistake to say we weren’t allowed? It still felt rude to be told no though.

I thought thr pricing was fair, the desserts are definitely homemade, & the bakery itself is adorable. I hope next time we are allowed to eat there.

Kikas Cafecito was very welcoming to me & my partner! They asked us if we needed any help choosing & made light conversations. Amazing customer service & kind vibes. Their dessert’s & pastries were airy fluffy & delicious. Me and my partner got 6 desserts & the price was well worth all of them. If i could i would’ve gotten one of everything! 😍 We will definitely come back & bring our family! This place was an absolute hit and the owner deserves all the praise & hardwork! Had to go after a coworker put me onto their tres leches and another coworker had a cupcake from them that was very good ! Needless to say, it didn’t disappoint! The tres leches was just as delicious as the first time , and the choco flan was not too sweet and just right! I also got a strawberry cheesecake that was good! Edit: went again a couple weeks later and the cashier was very sweet and gave me an extra cupcake free, I think she felt bad that the man in front joked about buying out all the tres leches after he grabbed all of them in sight and I asked if there were still any left , she was very much appreciated !
