Believe you me i don't even want to give this place a star .please whatever you do absolutely do not put any one you love and care about in this place .Hell i would not put my worst enemy in this place.Before my mother went into this nursing home .one of their people came out and filled out paperwork took my mothers debit card aswell told me i could pick it up at anytime my mother should have $60.00 left on her card well my mother was in there 11hrs before she passed away and absolutely no one contacted me i told the lady i had the feeling she was gonna pass in between 1am&2am sure enough 1:22am feb.28th i didnt know until the Nueces County Mortuary services calls me up and says to me we have your mother here in the refrigerator lady had said that to me she apologized deeply as she discovered that I did not know anything about this did not did not find out until March 1st at 4:30 in the afternoon she passed away hospice no one informed me so I called up there to find out why the hell nobody notified me that my mother passed away and everybody has no how come I wasn't informed and that they're so sorry I go and call these people get my mother's things her property and her card funny enough to tell me that my mother never been in that nursing home so I asked him how many people do y'all have passed away up in here and they just gave me a Blank Stare I was on the phone with her for 5 hours until I went up there because kept on giving me the runaround trying to tell me like if I was delusional or something that you know my mother didn't have this my mother didn't have that when I knew well she did so I get up there and I get her bag up possessions funny enough I get one pair of earrings all her jewelry was missing no one can seem to tell me what on Earth happened to my mother's stuff yesterday I find out from the funeral home that he recovered the mortician thank God he's been wonderful most of her belongings as it comes to jewelry but she still has some mental less that is missing I want articles of clothing her card they want to give me a run around about that so I start the raise hell I get my card back and my mother's pin had been changed they change the pin number I'm there mind you this is a Saturday I watch the lady grab it out of manila folder at that what paperwork in it and you mean to tell me that it wasn't written down in that folder somewheres so I had to call the lady who originally came to get my card from me and she has no earthly ideas well it went from her hands to another lady's hands and then no one can get ahold of her funny and oddly enough so I had to wait till Monday morning to get a hold of direct express debit card to change the pin when I change the pin I discovered all my transactions or should I say my mother's transactions and what do you know the day that it went out of my hands with that woman they spent money and it wasn't for her room in the nursing home the people at the nursing home decided to go ahead and have a shopping spree on my mom's dime Knowing damn good & well I had no life insurance I lost my job because I was my mother's provider the first of the month with all the bills coming in and I want to go spend what little bit of money that I have to pay all these things on top of a funeral isn't that so wonderful when my mother only gets $193 as it was they spent $436 they had Persians at Walmart not just once but try three times two times at Jack In The Box both of them were well over thirty bucks one of the Walmart visits was 200 some-odd dollars they spent another one was 4622 the other one was $126 and some odd sense then they were smart and decided to get on Google and get this app called Pinger and for something I don't know what finger is it hides your IP address this way nobody can track and Trace where you're coming$13.25 to TDCJ inmate Google Pinger was $10.66 another Walmart visit for $46.22 and I've got NOTHING return to me I've even gone as far as making a complaint is still nothing THEY WERE Rude very rude up there at that...

My uncle is at this unhealthy and uncaring place. Employees stole his wallet and radio and left him without any entertainment or human contact at the back of the smelliest part of building. Additionally, the staff do not want to take time to feed him slowly or at all. One day everyone will end up in the same health condition. The staff would do well to realize that one day they will be the patient in need of compassionate and honest caregivers. My uncle is a low-income person and so he is ignored and barely cared for. The staff lie about almost everything regarding patients' care and patient personal effects. I blame the owner and director for hiring anyone who can breath and have no empathy or a soul and just want money. Any worker at a medical or health care facility that does not like their job and working with people should not work with anything living. The computer field is in need of more warm bodies, though. I would not wish on my worst enemy to be a patient at this nursing home or any nursing home. Never Leave an old, disabled, or very ill patient alone for more than an hour at any hospital, mental or physical health care facility. When patients do not have a loved one with them, there are some medical staff who do not properly care for patients or not all. There are some great medical care people and caregivers, just not enough of them. The few good ones do become worn out from doing more than their share of work. Even in front of visitors, I have seen employees in a hospital and physical rehab facilities not doing their jobs.or doing the bare minimum inadequately. They just stand or sit around chatting, looking at their mobile phones or doing school course work while patients lay on the floor for 20 minutes after falling out of bed and no person helping them until I remind them that there are patients who have called for their help for the last 20 minutes.

This place is the worst. Do not send your family there. The biggest thing is the nursing staff. I mean I brought my own medication told them how I take it. They completely ignored me and it was a fight every time I needed to take my medication. The one nurse Maureen was awful. Very rude and disrespecting. Plus they kept losing my one medication. The therapist for ot and pt were awesome is why I have it a 1 rating. They are competent and caring. It was bad that I didn't get pt for 2 days. But if I would of stayed im sure both therapist would of helped me a lot. The administration come in say hi. Tell you et me know if you need anything. We'll it's all lip service. I mean I had no tv for the first 2 days. The first night I did not get any of my medication. Director of nurturing even spoke to me. That night same problem. Lost medication and fight for the time I was to take it. Anyways find another place to send your loved one. Because even tho they seem so nice the staff is who you'll deal with every day. It's waY understaffed. So your Cna's just don't have time to care for the patients. One day the Cna told me I'm the only one here you'll just have to wait. Are you kidding me. So i guess I'll go in my room pee myself or Ugo ill just do it myself post for the best. Because it is long term and rehab. The patients fall thru the cracks. I mean I had one gentleman who peed on himself and he had to sit in the hallways for at least an hour that I saw. Very humiliating. They should decide to be one thing because both is not working. I mean when the director gives you her own personal cell to call. Then you still have issues. Well that should tell you there is a problem. The cleaning staff was awesome.
