I'm a regular at places like this. There's a consumer protection agency that lists what kinds of products have reason for concern. most of what you'll hear about discount stores with skeleton crews and tight spaces is false narrative, promoted by competition to reduce opinion of such places by the public.
There's nothing evil about dollar stores, and this one has decent people working in it that are just trying to live same as you and i. they take a lot of grief from a lot of different directions, yet find the strength of will to treat people with respect, even though far too often it isn't reciprocated.
