I speak purely from an unbiased, non partisan and business position. I have no interest in politics, regardless of position. I will say, this model to base around a public figure within the world of politics works, until the specific person is no longer the political face. It works but not forever. If you wish to use a public figure, my humble suggestion would to use a singer or dancer, writer, artist, actor, inventor, even certain business people. Especially if you are looking for longevity usage. A business is a business. It's important to always remember, unless you only service a demographic within your medium then yes, it can work. Rule of thumb in business, keep politics, religion out if your business pertains to the servicing of the public at large directly such as movie theaters, academia, medical, tech, auto and culinary. This is not to attack your personal beliefs and support for politicians. Remember if your business services the public, not all of the public will appreciate your decor based on who or what you believe and follow. And especially in culinary, you can not turn down service, because a client doesn't agree. Yes, they don't have to eat at your store. At the same time eventually you'll have to change it up, because political figures who are in favor is ever changing. Maybe twenty years from it will not work. I don't know. I do know this style won't be profitable forever. Especially if you expect to have your store continue with your descendants. I did eat here recently. I enjoyed the burger still. I am surprised the prices are so low even compared to fast food. I was pleased. And the delivery aspect...
Read moreWe have been going to this restaurant for years now, usually, but not always, on Friday evening when the “all you can eat” fish option is available. With the previous management there was usually a long line of people waiting for a table every Friday night but we really loved having a conversation with the previous owner and his wife while waiting for our table. Now the old man is gone and with him the line of clients waiting for a table. We don’t want to argue about management choices, if you don’t like a place just stop going, but I think things could be done better, the quality of the food sometime is not the same anymore and the prices spiked in the last two years: first the "all you can eat fish" was $9.50, the $13.50 and now it's almost $18.00, I understand that prices went up for everything but this is an almost 100% increase in a couple of years, for a dinner for two and two sodas $44.00 seems to be a little too much, at least compared to what we were used. Add the tip for the waitress (very nice lady) and you spend over $50. Not for us anymore. We recommended this place to many, many friends and family members because of the great price and the food quality, now we should look at something else, or just stay home and fry...
Read moreMy husband and I just walked out of this restaurant which we don’t normally do. My chicken was not fully cooked (which being an avid chicken eater I know this happens sometimes) and bled on the plate. I asked the waitress (who very nice and helpful) to take it back and please get me a burger. A minute later another lady came out of the back (I’m assuming manager or owner) and asked what was wrong. I told her the chicken was under cooked and she said no it was not. I told her it was bleeding on the plate. She replied that it was just a vein and said that I had eaten most of it. Now why would I order a hamburger if I had eaten most of the chicken. I told her I had not and that I had just pulled it apart to se if it was cooked. She continued to argue with me so I told her she was welcome to go ahead and eat the chicken. My husband told her we wanted a burger instead and that we would still pay for chicken. She had major attitude but went back to the kitchen. At this point we were so aggravated that she would argue with us we went to the counter, canceled the burger and paid for our so called meals and walked out. Side note, my husbands steak was over cooked and also not very good but we did not...
